Nice place, beautiful view of the lake. The decor is predominantly black, which I personally don't like. My wife and I had lunch: spaghetti with clams, fried baby octopus, octopus alla diavola, and dessert to finish. Everything was very good except the octopus alla diavola, which wasn't spicy at all and was seasoned with rosemary and sage. Basically, all you could taste was the sage: in my opinion, seafood dishes should be "touched" as little as possible to avoid altering the true flavor, that of the sea. Overall, I recommend it.

We've been to this restaurant several times, the last time just yesterday because we got married the day before in Castel Gandolfo, so we stayed nearby and were delighted to return to this wonderful place. A breathtaking location, beyond the lake view, the interior is also art and enchantment.
The service is impeccable, and the food—there's not a single dish that isn't beautiful to look at, but above all, appetizing and meticulously crafted.
I recommend everyone try it and believe it!

The location is breathtaking, the interior rooms are stunning, it feels like being inside a castle. Not to mention the beautiful view of Lake Castel Gandolfo. The dishes are delicious and imaginative. I highly recommend the spirulina spaghetti with shrimp ragù, saffron cream, and squid ink bread for a starter—it's definitely worth it. For main courses, we tried the monkfish with flambéed peaches and Romanella and the turbot saltimbocca with mashed potatoes, both of which were also truly excellent.

The view is great. Decoration is interesting, not exactly my style, but certainly elegant on its own way. Service a bit slow, but correct. Food is good: more striking on the visual aspect that anything else, but at least the fish and pasta dishes that we tried were very good. They seem to specialize more on fish. Desserts, a bit less: don't expect traditional Italian desserts such as tiramisu or cassata, but original desserts with different shapes. The restaurant is a bit the pricey side, but on the whole not much more than the restaurants up on the main square, which are not quite as elegant. I think for this level of stylish atmosphere and view it is not a very expensive place. Probably a good place to take a date and impress her? Or at least take some pictures of the food and post it on Instagram?

I went last night with my partner for the second time to this masterpiece of a restaurant. It's incredibly beautiful, truly elegant, and the owner and staff are incredibly kind, professional, and extremely helpful.
The food was excellent, the octopus alla diavola (it's actually a whole octopus) was spectacular, and the wine was excellent. What can I say? We'll definitely be back!
And finally, it was my partner's birthday. The waiter probably overheard us talking, and at the end of the bill, the desserts were offered by the owner. A very nice and much-appreciated gesture, thank you very much! Go there, you'll be amazed! Congratulations to the entire Gardenia staff!

Ristorante con una posizione invidiabile e scenografica sul lago. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di mangiare sulla terrazza con un ottimo clima.
L'ambientazione del ristorante è nero e oro, molto 'lounge'.
Abbiano mangiato bene anche se la ricerca dell'originale in ogni piatto non sempre riescce: ad esempio la curcuma nei tortiglioni secondo me si può evitare. I mieo fagottini erano troppo amari, qualcosa è andato storto nella parte dei carciofi. Porzioni abbondanti. Prezzi molto alti
