Good dishes but small portions, I don't recommend it if you're hungry, you come in empty-handed and leave starving.

From the moment we arrived, the service stood out — the two gentlemen who looked after us were exceptional. Warm, attentive, and sincerely kind, they created an atmosphere that felt both relaxed and special. We shared the fried mixed seafood, and it was outstanding — perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and flavorful inside, capturing the essence of the sea. The lasagne was equally memorable — rich, comforting, and clearly homemade with love. You could taste the pride and tradition in every bite. La Forgia feels like a place where food, people, and passion come together effortlessly. Thank you for making our evening so memorable — we’ll carry this experience with us long after we’ve left Tropea. Highly recommended.

First-class restaurant with large portions and a good selection of seafood. Sea bream and sea bass are served whole here, not just as fillets like in most restaurants in Tropea. The sea bass tasted first-class. We also ordered a plate of mussels – also very good! The value for money is excellent here – for €12 for the mussel plate and €18 for the sea bream, you can't beat it! The restaurant also offers a beautiful view of the sea and very attentive waiters! A clear recommendation – eat at La Forgia! Unlike most other would-be gourmet restaurants in Tropea, this place serves first-class food in generous portions at fair prices!

We had lunch at this welcoming restaurant on Viale Umberto... what can I say, the food was very good, fresh fish... one of the places to go if you want to eat excellent food... we will be back soon... not to be forgotten, the owner is nothing short of top.
