An evening with friends exploring Parma cuisine! We visited La Forchetta and were thrilled: a super elegant location, extremely friendly staff, and truly exquisite dishes. The value for money is excellent, especially considering the location and the quality of the ingredients. We'll definitely be back, taking our time to enjoy every course!

A centrally located restaurant, right behind the Baptistery. The cuisine has two souls: one, obviously, tied to the local area, and the other to the chef, who is Sicilian. I must say, both are beautifully presented. The local area is fundamental and inimitable: we're talking about a food valley unlike any other in the world. Cured meats, parmesan, stuffed pasta, succulent meats. The pumpkin tortelli with a hint of amaretto are delicious. But the Sicilian soul also shines through: fish treated with respect, top-quality ingredients... and a pastry shop... in short, stop by and choose the path that best suits you. You'll be accompanied by a good wine list (with a few gems) and plenty of courtesy and professionalism.

La Forchetta is our go-to. We travel, discover, taste—and then, again, every week, we knock on their door. Because everything here has soul. We love their entire seafood menu, and we never tire of it, but the Parmesan cuisine is also top-notch.
We're writing this while they're closed for their well-deserved holidays, but the truth is, we miss them :-)
It's not just the best in Parma: it's the best in the world.

The quality is top notch, but the highlight is the sweet "limpone." One of those desserts that sticks in your head, so good.

We were so excited to come based on the reviews. Number one, my Lamb dish was overcooked. It was well done and for a Michelin restaurant that is ridiculous. When I asked she said it was done in the oven so i didn't continue the discussion because no sense in it. My wife also ordered a prawn dish and there were 2 pieces of raw shrimp on the top. The explanation was that is the way the chef likes it. The soufle was wonderful though.

We visited today, December 29, 2025, for lunch. Delicious platter of cold meats and prosciutto. The hostess was friendly and spoke Russian, which helped with our food selection. A decent place for a meal. They don't particularly spoil us with olive oil.
