We had an incredible dinner at La Falterona! The Florentine steak was absolutely amazing. It was hands down the best steak my husband and I have ever had. Prior to cooking the steak, they bring it out to the table for you to look at and then once it is cooked, they cut it in front of you at your table. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We left completely satisfied and can’t wait to come back next time we are in Florence. Highly recommend!

A cozy restaurant in the middle of the pedestrian street, where you get delicious Italian dishes.
We all had one of their pasta dishes with homemade pasta, as well as a good glass of Cianti.
Everyone was enthusiastic - young, older and in between.
The friendly and welcoming staff also gets five stars.

We discovered this restaurant during a weekend in Florence. The atmosphere is traditional and the cuisine is excellent. The Florentine steak is amazing!

What a wonderful dining experience! This family-owned restaurant is truly a hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. Amalia and Matteo were amazing! we were drawn into the place with Matteo's subtle sense of humor as we walked past.
The customer service was outstanding — attentive without being overbearing, and you could tell they truly care about their guests. And the Spaghetti... absolutely amazing! Perfectly rich in flavor, and clearly made with love and fresh ingredients.
It’s rare to find a place that combines delicious, authentic food with such a welcoming, family atmosphere. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

I've eaten at "La Falterona" several times and I must say they've never disappointed me.
Their first courses are fantastic, not to mention their excellent Florentine steak!
The owners are kind and always super helpful, and the service is excellent.
I highly recommend it!

Siamo stati a cena con la famiglia durante una breve vacanza. Ambiente classico e ampio. Tavoli anche all'aperto. Il sig. Marco ci ha accolto subito con simpatia e accompagnati al tavolo. Per ogni portata ci ha spiegato l'origine e la particolarità dei piatti. Non è mancata l'occasione anche per una piacevole e simpatica chiacchierata. Marco è entrato subito in sintonia con mio figlio di 13 anni a cui ha dato consigli e tante informazioni per la scelta delle pietanze. Il servizio è stato rapido e perfetto. I piatti ottimi, sia gli antipasti che i primi, i secondi e dolci. Il prezzo giusto, cosa da non sottovalutare in una zona turistica di una città non certamente economica come è Firenze. Torneremo sicuramente. Grazie per la cena e la simpatia!

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Qualità della carne in particolare è ottima e e quantità piu che adeguate .
Locale storico e abbastanza informale, ma dove ci si alza da tavola veramente soddisfatti
