Ristorante La Falterona In Firenze

Very good service and delicious food. The best we ate in Italy and at a reasonable price.

A gem hidden in plain site in Firenze center, with delicious Firenze cuisine! We only had pasta dishes but they were excellent!

What an amazing experience! We asked at our hotel for a real “Florentine steak “. We were told to go no further than La Falterona. Luckily we were a mere 3 blocks away. Wow is all I can say! I have never had such a steak. The staff was amazing as well. Highly recommended! It was my girlfriends birthday, this mean made it extra special

Tucked away in a back street near the central market, this is a lovely restaurant, we visited twice and on both occasions had the Fiorentine steak. Outstanding experience, staff are friendly, particularly Marco, who is a charming and amusing man. Great wine list too. I made the mistake of ordering Spaghetti from the Primi menu before the main of the steak. The Spaghetti on its own was superb, but I sadly had to abandon it, as I knew I had literally bitten off more than I could chew. There are SO many good restaurants in Florence (more in other reviews) but La Falterona was up there as one of the best for us. Very enjoyable and thanks to all the staff.

It was a really really delicious restaurant👍 Especially the grilled octopus and seafood oven pasta were superb. Seriouslyㅠㅠ You have to try it!!

Wonderful dinner, terrific service. Negroni was fabulous as was Parmesan Soufflé and our salad and pasta dishes.

My favorite restaurant in Florence. A regular stop whenever I have to go on a business trip. Florentine steak, braised cheek, their ragù, porcini mushroom tagliata, whatever you choose you won't go wrong because everything is truly delicious. Very nice restaurant with a lovely terrace in a quieter area. Lovely atmosphere and excellent food. One of the best meals we had in Italy 🇮🇹.

Siamo stati a cena con la famiglia durante una breve vacanza. Ambiente classico e ampio. Tavoli anche all'aperto. Il sig. Marco ci ha accolto subito con simpatia e accompagnati al tavolo. Per ogni portata ci ha spiegato l'origine e la particolarità dei piatti. Non è mancata l'occasione anche per una piacevole e simpatica chiacchierata. Marco è entrato subito in sintonia con mio figlio di 13 anni a cui ha dato consigli e tante informazioni per la scelta delle pietanze. Il servizio è stato rapido e perfetto. I piatti ottimi, sia gli antipasti che i primi, i secondi e dolci. Il prezzo giusto, cosa da non sottovalutare in una zona turistica di una città non certamente economica come è Firenze. Torneremo sicuramente. Grazie per la cena e la simpatia!
