Ristorante La Contrada In Domaso

This is a historic restaurant in Domaso that has had several different owners for varying lengths of time, but all have maintained the unique character of the osteria. Access is gained by descending two steps into two rooms with exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings. An internal staircase leads to the first floor, where the rooms are modernly furnished. The menu offers classic lakeside specialties and well-prepared seafood. The wine list is decent, and prices are reasonable. It's popular with tourists seeking this historic atmosphere, and they don't mind the lack of lake views. July 2025: closed until a new owner is found.

Our second visit to this restaurant, and this time we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite! The food and service were excellent, and the interior was cozy. A very nice and warm atmosphere. This year, the older chef came by again and asked us if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was okay. And it was! As we left, we made sure to thank him personally once again! We'll definitely be back. Thank you very much!

Truly delicious food in an authentic setting. And the owner himself asks if everything was alright. Pure Italy. Bravo!
