Welcoming and clean place, very friendly staff. Traditional dishes at reasonable prices. I recommend it.

I'm just leaving this little trattoria where I promised the owner I'd write a review... I don't write many, but this one was due. Being in the area for work, I stopped here at La Casina. It's a friendly, welcoming place, with limited seating but a reasonable menu. They offer both a la carte options and a €15 fixed menu (starter, main course, and side dish). I think they're very busy at lunchtime with nearby businesses, as all the tables were taken. Despite this, I decided to order the dish of the day, which consisted of pappardelle with wild boar. The pasta was delicious, plentiful, and the wild boar sauce was seasoned to perfection. Once I'd finished my plate, as I certainly couldn't stomach any other main course, I ordered two homemade Ricciarelli. Three arrived, and since I couldn't eat one because I was so full, the friendly waitress practically forced me to take it home in a bag... When it came time to get the bill and drink my coffee, I chatted with the owner and realized that this truly is a healthy and authentic place unlike any other. Highly recommended for anyone in the area.
