This restaurant on Lake Trasimeno is a true corner of paradise! The restaurant offers a breathtaking view and an atmosphere almost immersed in nature, perfect for a relaxing lunch. The fish dish I tried was truly delicious: tender, tasty and accompanied by a cream that enhanced the flavours. Attentive service and lovely location, a must try!

Excellent location, we stopped for lunch with friends, the selection of cheeses was good, the maltagliati with truffles and the pici with white ragù. Quite fast with dish times even when the restaurant is full. Excellent price

My wife and I were in the area and hungry and wanted to get some lunch, so we chose this location out on convince.
This place was overall "good" , however, I wouldn't go ranting about it. The servers seemed a bit "annoyed" that we were tourists. This was our first time experiencing that in Italy.
We did ask to sit outside when there was no rain at all, especially since the view was spectacular; the server replied, "No, because of rain."
We didn't push it because we were tourists (you know). The food was okay. We have had twice as good of food for half the price, but you are paying extra here for the location. The atmosphere was good, but not to go raving about.
It was fine, but I expect others are better nearby.

Wide and wise choice in the menu offering, welcoming and well-kept restaurant, professional service. It's a shame we weren't able to enjoy the wonderful terrace overlooking the lake due to weather conditions, certainly an extra motivation to return.

A good restaurant apparently full on Sundays, large and full of waiters, quick service, moderate prices, wide choice of wines. Outside panoramic view of the lake.

I recommend this restaurant located in the historic center. Nice historic and particular place with tables also in the garden overlooking the lake. We had two first courses: Maltagliati, homemade, with tench and Fagiolina del Trasimeno. Very good. Compliments.

Pranzo in un bell'ambiente. Battuta di chianina molto buona anche se il tartufo era poco saporito. Pici alla norcina con porcini e tartufi veramente notevoli.

Bel locale proprio lungo il corso del centro di Castiglione. All’interno il soffitto con arcate di mattoni ed enormi botti di vino divenute porte, sono bellissimi. Ho cenato con mia moglie e mia figlia, preso un risotto alla pera a formaggio, eccezionale, e dei bocconcini di chianina e porcini, ottimi. Porzioni super abbondanti, prezzi onesti, buon servizio. Consiglio!
