Wonderful experience, excellent traditional dishes, first time here, and we were served by the wonderful Valentino, all the way from Cosenza, and we immediately felt at home. He was extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Depending on what time of year you go there you may have to fight your way through swarms of flies. But once you do that the rest of it is fabulous.

The food was delicious; even my extremely picky son enjoyed their first courses. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly. Every time we come to Castiglione del Lago, we come here to be pampered. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, efficient and friendly staff

My husband and I were looking for a happy Italian spot where we could "enjoy" a break before our long journey. We never thought we'd meet Antonello from La Cantina restaurant, who, despite the restaurant not being ready for service (it was only 5 pm), did not fail to serve us with care and love. He seated us in the best spot with a wonderful view of Lake Trasimeno: breathtaking! We trusted his experience, and he recommended a superior white wine paired with a treat: a small selection of Italian cheeses, perfect for the occasion. The price was very fair, the quality high, and the location was wonderful. It's sad to realize that workers like Antonello are no longer made and are increasingly rare. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and my husband's for your hospitality; we'll be back for dinner 🏳️‍🌈🇮🇹

The restaurant has a wide choice, the interior is really beautiful, but the outside has a truly breathtaking view. We ate pizza and it was really good.
