We had dinner here with the family, a wonderful place in a very picturesque place. All the dishes were delicious, there’s a kids’ menu, tasty wine, and very friendly service. If you’re in the area, make sure to stop by! The unique local atmosphere is guaranteed!

Situated in a picturesque location, La Berlera is a restaurant like few others. The building, a 19th-century Austro-Hungarian watchtower, is carved directly into the rock and offers a unique experience: inside, the atmosphere is intimate and refined with exposed rock walls, while outside, you can enjoy a spectacular mountain panorama. The service is impeccable; each waiter stands out for their courtesy, precision, and genuine attention to detail, creating a welcoming yet unobtrusive atmosphere. Every detail is meticulously attended to, from the presentation of the dishes to the wine pairings. The cuisine is a paragon of creativity and flavor: each dish is thoughtfully crafted, balanced, and original, while still drawing inspiration from Trentino tradition. The ingredients are excellent, and every nuance of flavor demonstrates extreme attention and mastery. The prices are certainly high, but fully justified by the overall quality of the experience.

Very good food, I recommend you don't just take one dish per person as the portions are relatively small.

This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in Riva! The location is picturesque and the outdoor seating area is outstanding. It’s the most wonderful place to have a meal. The staff are extremely courteous, polite, friendly, and attentive. I don’t have all the names of the kind staff but Federico was especially lovely, attentive, friendly and also very funny! My friend and I absolutely enjoyed every moment of our time here. We had the beef dish upon recommendation by one of the staff. It was an off-menu item and absolutely incredible! The food was so tasty, perfectly cooked and the prices are so reasonable too. I love Riva del Garda and this is restaurant is my favourite. To the chef, all the beautiful staff, and especially Federico, I cannot wait to come back!

Truly special, refined dishes and an enchanting location.

I went out to dinner with my friends and was actually looking forward to a relaxed, enjoyable evening. The ambiance is definitely classy – modern furnishings, stylish decor, large plates with plenty of visual appeal. If you value aesthetics, you'll get your money's worth here. The food? It tasted very, very good. The ingredients seemed high-quality, and the presentation was creative and elegant. However, the portion sizes were truly disappointing. My main course was so small that it was more like an appetizer – or a meal for someone who's already had a kebab. Unfortunately, this isn't for people who are really hungry. Even the good quality doesn't help. A meal should be filling, not just look good. The service was mixed. It was obvious that the staff was under pressure – the atmosphere was hectic. Nevertheless, there was one bright spot: Our German-speaking waiter was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made an effort, which I highly appreciate. He was a pleasant calm in an otherwise hectic atmosphere. Conclusion: Anyone looking for a culinary work of art for Instagram and arriving with a bit of an appetite might enjoy this place. However, anyone who values a good balance between price, quantity, and taste will likely leave disappointed—or stop for a snack on the way home. For me, it was an experience with both ups and downs: visually impressive, tasty, but with room for improvement in terms of satiety and relaxation.

Siamo tornati in questo ristorante dopo un anno e il posto è sempre magnifico, cibo buono ma il servizio purtroppo ha lasciato molto a desiderare… peccato perché venivamo apposta a Riva del Garda per venire qua ma non ci torneremo più… un ristorante così dovrebbe avere camerieri all’altezza (soprattutto l’uomo)

Spectaculaire eetruimte ( uitgehouwen rots) op mooie lokatie (oude burcht), in een gehucht tussen Arco en Riva del Garde. Rustige ligging tussen wijngaarden. Prima gerechten en dito wijn voor een goede prijs. Verzorgde tafels ( tafelkleed, bloemetje, linnen servetten). Vriendelijke bediening die ook Spaans spreekt.
