5 stars aren't enough to describe the friendliness and hospitality of La Barme. A very beautiful place, fantastic food, good wines. We spent the night of December 31st here because the owners were kind enough to find a spot for the three of us at the last minute. Unfortunately, my husband had a fever. We hope to be able to return so we can stay longer. THANK YOU SO MUCH ♥️

Excellent location across from the parking lot and at the start of the promenade. Modest prices and specialties you won't find elsewhere, like chestnut flour strips with toma and mocetta cheese. Very friendly staff and very fast service.

I loved the hotel and the service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. There were plenty of things to do nearby. The scenery was spectacular.

A family-run hotel, furnished in a simple yet refined, flawless style, in classic mountain style. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the wait staff is professional and friendly in equal measure. The cuisine is excellent, with dishes featuring well-defined flavors. The menu, while not extensive, is inviting. Breakfast also offered a more than adequate selection of sweet and savory options. The location is excellent, with the stunning valley at its back. In short, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

My stay at Hotel La Barme was very pleasant. Located in the beautiful hamlet of Valnontey, it is the result of a careful renovation of an old building, preserving its charm. The owners gave me a very warm welcome; with kindness and helpfulness, and most importantly, a smile, they make you feel immediately at ease. The rooms are beautiful, with plenty of wood for a warm and welcoming feel, spacious bathrooms, and impeccable cleanliness. The Ecolabel certification is very important and appreciated, making us feel more respectful of the surrounding nature. Half-board is available, with a dinner full of choices—something you shouldn't expect—featuring excellent-quality, locally sourced products and spectacular presentation. Breakfast is plentiful and full of homemade products, such as cakes, biscuits, jams, yogurt, savory dishes, fresh fruit, and coffee served at your table. The dining room staff deserves special mention, both at dinner and at breakfast, for their courtesy and helpfulness. Parking is available in the large garage. Excellent value for money. I definitely recommend it and hope to return soon to repeat this more than positive experience.

The entire hotel and restaurant staff are excellent professionals. Cleanliness and order are a hallmark of the entire establishment, and the restaurant offers great taste and quality, with excellent service and presentation. Andrea, his brother, and their wives and children manage the hotel and restaurant meticulously and diligently. We were honored to have been guests for ten days with our beloved Argos.
