Lakeside restaurant, impeccable service, exquisite food

The infinite rays of the setting sun are reflected in a brilliant ochre by the houses of Orta and the island of San Giuglio. Behind them the green of the hills, and in front the sparkling blue of the lake. The shadows of the summer evenings have already arrived in Pella, on the opposite shore of the lake. The sun has already set there, hidden by the mountains behind the town, and the contrast between the brightness of Orta that we admire from the shadow of Pella, sitting at the Imbacadero Restaurant, is a welcome that predisposes to serenity. An unmissable location, a creative seafood cuisine, without excess, refined, balanced, a good choice of wines, impeccable service. Every year we dine at the Imbarcadero Restaurant on the lake in Pella, so as not to miss the sunset together with a cuisine in harmony with the landscape. The excellent raw material of the food has a fair relationship with the price. But if to someone it seems high, I remind you that at exhibitions you pay to see a work of art. The location and view over the lake were worth a visit. The food was a bit overpriced…

Spectacular views, service, and food. We had a wonderful dinner on our day of arrival to Como. They were extremely accommodating, offering bag hooks for the ladies. The portions were appropriate size and delicious! We had Salmon and Serloin Steak. Dessert included Teramisu, Pistachio Semifreddo, and Chocolate & Almond Caprese. Wonderful meal. Would recommend to anyone visiting Como. Special thanks to Tomasso for his hospitality. Get your reservation, you won’t regret it!

Quel bel endroit! le personnel parle français et explique bien toute la cuisine. Nous sommes très difficiles sur la qualité et le complément des saveurs et la c'était PERFECTO!!!! la truite fumée est présentée avec une marmelade d'agrumes et de vin non sucrée et c'est un superbe mariage. Un couple français exigeant.

E' diventata quasi un'abitudine, in primavera scegliere una bella giornata e raggiungere il Lago D'Orta dalla sua sponda un pò meno turistica e trafficata e concederci un ottimo pranzo in terrazza con lo splendido scenario del lago e dell'Isola di San Giulio. La terrazza è luminosissima e sobriamente arredata, gli spazi adeguati e la mise en place semplice; siamo partiti con il preantipasto offerto dallo chef per poi apprezzare i gamberi al nero con crema di zucca e crudo (fenomenali) e il totano ripieno (fuori menù) perfetto. A seguire i gnocchetti neri (uno spettacolo di gusto) ed una grigliata mista. Il dessert dello chef ed un caffè sono stati la giusta chiusura di un pranzo da ricordare accompagnato da una bottiglia di Arneis di Ceretto scelto da una carta dei vini non amplissima ma corretta per varietà e ricarichi. Il tutto per 130 €. che è una cifra non banale ma meritatissima.
