We had such a lovely stay in this hotel, the view from the balcony is such a treat… the room is very clean , and the owner greets you with excitement every day, If you ever wanna come visit Lake Como this hotel is very recommendable and budget friendly.. Thank you so much

This restaurant is highly recommended! While others go for fancy or expensive, this one focuses on quality and authenticity. Make a reservation, though it might work without, depending on your luck. It's definitely worth it.

This super cute family run restaurant is worth it! We ate the trout with almond and homemade ravioli and wow the fish was thin but cooked to perfection. We are both chefs and appreciate fish cooked properly. We finished our night with tirimisu and it was the perfect ending. Highly recommend making a reservation as we saw many groups of people being turned away.

We tried to get a table on our first evening without a reservation – there was virtually no chance of getting one, so we immediately made a reservation for the following evening – luckily! We received a warm welcome, even with a few words of German, which we were very pleased about, as we weren't expecting it. We had prosciutto crudo with melon for starters, and for main courses, we had one lasagna and one ravioli in sage butter with Parmesan – simply delicious. For dessert, I chose the fresh apple pie – it was still warm, a dream. All in all, we had a perfect evening at Il Vapore and can only recommend it to anyone visiting Menaggio. Thank you, mille!

RISTORANTE REVIEW Another great find on our holiday to Lake Como! Home cooked family food with lovely service and people. I had the sirloin steak and it was cooked to perfection, the pork steaks were delicious as was the sauce that my friend had, the lasagne too and my wife had the “too die for” ravioli in sage and butter. Finished off with delicious tiramisu. Definitely with a visit in Menaggio.

I'm completely satisfied. The food and service were very good. I visit the restaurant regularly with my family. Highly recommended. Particularly worth mentioning: the tables are set with white cloth tablecloths and cloth napkins. Not what you'd expect in other restaurants: wrapped cutlery, paper napkins, and disposable tablecloths. Nevertheless, the price is very reasonable despite the additional costs for the restaurant owner.

Comimos en casi todos los restaurantes agradables en Menaggio y este fue de lejos el mejor! La dueña sirve las mesas sola y es una sensación muy pequeña y pintoresca. Ella hizo un gran trabajo y aunque era una cena de ocio, todo era delicioso y auténtico! Recomiendo encarecidamente comer aquí si se aloja en Menaggio, es el mejor restaurante de la ciudad!

Comimos aquí el 8 de mayo después de haber reservado. Nos dieron la bienvenida a la llegada y nos mostraron a nuestra mesa. El propietario era muy amable y acogedor. La comida aquí era excelente y todo preparado en las instalaciones. Estaba caliente y fresco y sabía muy bien. Mi esposa tenía la pasta de raviolis de carne en una salsa de mantequilla de limón. Fue tan sabroso. Tuve el plato de pasta de trigo sarraceno recomendado por otros críticos y no se equivocaron, era tan cursi y sabía muy bien. Tenía el Tiramisu de postre y esto era tan sabroso. Yo diría que fue el mejor que he tenido en todas mis estancias en Italia. El vino de la casa es excelente relación calidad-precio y gran degustación. Tenía el rojo que era suave y afrutado. Mi esposa tenía el blanco que dijo que era muy agradable. En todo esto fue un fantástico restaurante donde se hace sentir bienvenido y con gran sabor comida casera cocinada. Lo recomendaría reservar ya que la gente estaba llegando sin haber reservado y salir decepcionado. La otra cosa que realmente me gustó fue que no había prisa y la mesa era tuya mientras lo quisieras, no apresurarte a través de los cursos para meter a otros comensales. La dueña trabaja muy duro, ella era la única que tomaba pedidos, sacaba comida, conseguía bebidas y mesas de despeje, pero todo funcionaba como un reloj. Si quieres probar una buena cocina italiana fresca a un precio razonable, reserva esto y pruébalo. No decepcionará.
