Ristorante "Il Vapore" - Hotel Risi - In Colico

Good hotel on the shore of Lake Como. Good and basic breakfast. Advised.

We stayed as a couple for New Year's Eve. Very large and clean room and bathroom (dated but nice and welcoming furnishings), with excellent soundproofing considering the barrels outside. The spa is small but functional and with good service, suitable for the cost (only €10 per person). Rich breakfast with buffet. Parking is also included in the services. Friendly and helpful staff.

Beautiful place and also amazing staff

Located on the lakeside of Colico, near the lake navigation boats, this hotel is located in a period building, renovated especially in the rooms and in some common areas. The breakfast is excellent and very varied, offering options for celiacs and those intolerant to lactose. Curious that some foods and drinks require a supplement (but we are only in a three-star hotel). The parking area is convenient, especially in season, not adjacent but reachable in a few steps. Friendly staff, the location on the corner of the start of the promenade I believe is definitely at risk of noise in summer. Pets accepted.

Last minute booking as missus forgot to book a room after returning from St Moritz. Being a bank Holiday the only room was a suite for 5 people. So the room was massive with fantastic views of Lake Como. The beds were comfortable, however the sofa not, but believe this tranformed into another bed so maybe that was the reason. Great shower in bathroom. Bit shocked at breakfast that you had to pay extra for Omelette, scrambled and fried eggs. But other than that breakfast was a good selection. Hotel is dated and could do with modernising, but overall we enjoyed our stay and location and views were excellent.

All I can say is positive, the reception staff are lovely and professional. The hotel is old but very well preserved, maintaining the charm of yesteryear... the location is excellent, quiet and beautiful. We will definitely return.

Optimal location directly by the lake. Rooms very clean and large. Breakfast was extensive, large selection and good. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Private parking around the corner. Center of Colico with many restaurants within 3 minutes walking distance. Only recommended.

We had a very good time. We didn't exploit all the potential, given that we only stayed one night. But the room was of a reasonable standard and the breakfast was worth mentioning! If we find ourselves in the area again we will definitely return.

Magnificent haven of peace, At the edge of the lake, the sunset lets the happy soul take color before enjoying the wellness facilities, spa, sauna, massage, swimming pool. And both dinner and breakfast invite us to come back for a longer stay.

Nice hotel by the lake, outdated facilities, but very clean and comfortable, good mattresses, large room with terrace, good breakfast with a view of the lake.
