Lavoro da 27 anni. Il miglior pranzo di lavoro di sempre. Giornata freddina, e la prima cosa che ho visto è stata la zuppiera dei passatelli in brodo... A seguire agnello alla cacciatora con cavolo ripassato. Il pranzo della domenica in una giornata lavorativa.

Lunch on a very hot summer Sunday. A nice motorbike ride and lunch at Sottobosco to find some refreshment. Mission accomplished. With great satisfaction. Il Sottobosco never betrays expectations. Pleasant location, ennobled by the presence of numerous parked motorbikes: always a nice sight. Then the novelty (for us) of the menu to be split. Excellent idea, which we immediately took advantage of. Great menu of the undergrowth, which would be impossible for us humans to manage, in fair portions to reach the end, even if full. All very well. Appetizers and first courses in particular, but the rest was no joke either. Pleasant and lively service, with care in the description of the dishes, which is not common in trattorias in our area. Well done! Fair expense. On Sundays, booking is a very smart precaution. Then they are fast and they find a "hole"... but better not to take risks.

A welcoming place suitable for motorcyclists looking for a bit of curves and a bit of fresh air. The food was good and the accommodation outside under the pergola was good.

We went for lunch on Sunday and although it had been a long time since we had been back, we always ate well. You can choose between 4 already selected menus or simply à la carte. Prices normal.

Food without infamy and without praise (the beans in oil were extremely disappointing), but it was the service that was below expectations. Convenient place for a stop for those traveling by motorbike between Marche, Emilia Romagna and Tuscany. Next time I will choose another place

17/11/2024: I went with my partner and we had a very good time. We are vegan and they prepared us a crepe made with flour and soy milk, which is not to be taken for granted especially in a place where crepes are prepared whose typical recipe involves the use of animal derivatives. In addition to the vegan crepes included in the menu, the owner would also have allowed us to add or eliminate some ingredients, but we opted for crepes already on the menu: if I remember correctly, with chickpea cream, dried tomatoes and courgettes. The menu of the day also included soups with only vegetable ingredients, we took one and it was very good. We really enjoyed everything we ate and the prices were appropriate.

22/06/2024: Wer authentische Toskanische sucht ist hier richtig. Es gibt auf der Karte immer nur eine kleine Auswahl an Gerichten. Geschmacklich sind die Speisen wirklich hervorragend. Das Restaurant ist recht einfach eingerichtet, aber so ist es in der Toskana nun mal. Die Inhaberin ist super freundlich und spricht auch Englisch. Geöffnet hat das Restaurant nur vom Freitags bis Sonntags, und nur am Samstag haben Sie auch am Abend geöffnet. Hauptsächlich kommen hier einheimische zum Essen. Das spricht zum einen für die Authentische Küche und zum anderen erklärt das halt auch die Öffnungszeiten. Das Restaurant ist mehrfach im Guide Michelin erwähnt worden als entsprechendes Authentisches Restaurant. Aufgrund der wenigen Tische muss man unbedingt vorher reservieren. Bezahlen kann man auch mit Kreditkarte und auf Anfrage sind auch Hunde erlaubt.
22/06/2024: If you are looking for authentic Tuscan dishes, you have come to the right place. There is always only a small selection of dishes on the menu. The taste of the dishes is really excellent. The restaurant is quite simply furnished, but that's how it is in Tuscany. The owner is super friendly and also speaks English. The restaurant is only open from Friday to Sunday and is only open in the evening on Saturday. Mainly locals come here to eat. On the one hand, this speaks for the authentic cuisine and, on the other hand, it also explains the opening times. The restaurant has been mentioned several times in the Michelin Guide as an authentic restaurant. Due to the limited number of tables, you must reserve in advance. You can also pay by credit card and dogs are allowed upon request.
