Restaurant with very good food, different dishes and an incredible view of Valtellina.
Parking is right after passing the hotel.
Tables were full and we sat on the terrace. In winter it's good to dress warmly.

Well, what can I say? The food was divine!
I had both an à la carte menu and a set menu, everything delicious. Their pizzoccheri have always been a favorite. The food was truly delicious, VERY GOOD!
The service was impeccable, and the young woman who served us was truly sweet and professional.
The location was stunning, with a view of the valley. The interior decor was also super quaint and well-curated. The desserts were delicious, and the bill was fair!

I enjoyed everything about the dinner, from the food to the professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness of the staff. But above all, what I appreciated most was the way a small issue with our reservation was handled with sincerity and professionalism. We felt pampered by the entire staff.

We went 02 times in a Row..The food was amazing,their signature dish,a Gnocchi with Mirtilo and cheese,is to die for,we repeated it ! The Lady Sommelier has a great knowledge for the Valtellina wines,and the wine list shows a lot of great options!The desserts also wonderful,all the team were very kind and friendly!A place to repeat !

Il Poggio Restaurant stands out first and foremost for its extraordinary panoramic location, with an unobstructed view of Sondrio and the surrounding mountains, which alone is worth the visit. The spacious and well-kept terrace is truly splendid and perfect for both an aperitif and outdoor lunches and dinners during the warmer months.
The restaurant is AIC certified, a major plus for celiacs: it offers a dedicated gluten-free menu, with dishes that faithfully reflect Valtellina tradition without sacrificing flavor. The homemade gluten-free bread is excellent and demonstrates a particular attention to quality and safety.
I tried the chiscioi, typical buckwheat and cheese fritters, served with salad: truly delicious, fragrant, and well-balanced. Followed by a risotto with Sassella, Casera, and walnuts, flavorful and well-executed, with ingredients harmoniously showcased.
Overall, Il Poggio is an excellent choice for those seeking traditional cuisine, gluten-free options, and a stunning panoramic location, ideal for both a special occasion and a simple day of enjoying good food and beautiful scenery.

The quality of the food and ingredients was certainly very high.
The only small flaw: a main course arrived, and when it was almost finished, its side dish and the other main course arrived. The same thing happened with dessert, which took over 30 minutes.
That said, the wait is absolutely forgivable: the dishes were truly excellent, and, aside from that detail, the service was excellent.
