Highly recommended! If you're looking for good, no-frills cuisine that's balanced and carefully prepared, you must stop at this restaurant. The location is simple but comfortable enough, featuring two separate areas: one for business lunches and the other for à la carte dining. The varied menu offers delicious, well-presented meat dishes. Excellent value, not at all expensive. The only drawback is the lack of air conditioning, which is noticeable on hot days.

After more than 5 years since the last time we managed to book a table, today it was almost a miracle. The restaurant had its peak of fame in the area and province immediately after the 2016 earthquake. Since then, booking a table on the weekend also required more than a month. The menu is listed by the service staff and on this occasion it was reduced in the traditional dishes offered. We opted for a house appetizer with cold cuts, cheeses, fried food and a miserable bruschetta with pumpkin cream and in addition a portion of coratella. Followed by two portions of pappardelle with wild boar and chips as a side dish. As usual, the portions are generously abundant, practically 4 dishes came out. Disappointment with the appetizer which unlike other competing restaurants was not satisfactory. Fast service and friendly staff.

I recommend this restaurant where we landed by chance during a trip out of town!
We arrived without booking and the very kind and attentive staff and in a patient manner (despite the place being packed) made room for us by creating an outdoor table just for us, super improvised but trying to make room for us at the last minute.
During our entire stay they often came to the table to make sure everything was okay.
The food was good, the dishes were plentiful, the service was fast.
Everything was simple without frills but welcoming.
The girl who took the order and then gave us the bill (I think she was the owner) was really nice and professional, helpful and with a smile on her face despite the hectic pace.
I recommend it if you are in the area!

It's a real shame that I can't give 5 stars to the environment, but only because the place was converted into a SAE after the earthquake and even after almost 10 years from the earthquake these managers, like the residents, still don't have real walls.... Returning to us, for everything else you are in the right place, the menu rigorously explained by word of mouth has all delicious courses, you won't be able to go wrong! Don't worry about the prices because there are no surprises. In the photos there is our bill of €60 for 2 people, with 3 first courses (1 takeaway) 2 second courses 2 side dishes 1 dessert 1 bitter and a coffee (water and 1/2 lt wine), but I struggled to get to the first bench in the shade!!! (generous portions and excellent quality)

Beyond the setting and everything that comes with running a restaurant in a container, it is the best place to eat everything that is delicious!!! No dish, from appetizer to dessert, is less than fabulous! The cured meats, snails, offal, first courses with truffles and wild boar, grilled meats and fried lamb are an experience worth the trip!!! Starred restaurants, hats off to this reality!!!

Excellent place good quality food, fast service, good staff, clean and very tidy environment, the portions were very generous, instead for the parking 🅿️, there is enough in front of the restaurant, I only recommend turning on the air conditioning that day it was quite hot 🔥, 😄we will definitely be back
