Beautiful location in an old stone mill still equipped with the original tools. Located at the foot of the Monte Duro forest and mountain range between La Vecchia and Bocco (Casina). Cool place, outdoor dining in the scorching summer. Warm welcome, professional service. Typical Emilian cuisine. Excellent! A taste of Ciccioli as a welcome, a platter of very good cured meats, green tortelli with sautéed lard, and potato tortelli with walnut sauce. The tortelli dough was thin and soft, accompanied by excellent quality sauces. Truly delicious! I finished with a chocolate cake filled with warm chocolate. Mouth-watering. All accompanied by two glasses of a good white wine.

The location is very beautiful, both inside and out... I booked because I've always been curious to see the place up close... it's a shame, however, that when I booked I wasn't asked where I preferred to dine, whether inside or outside... and honestly, since it's summer, I assumed the table would be outside... which is why I chose the place... but once I arrived, I was reluctant to discover that our table was inside in a small room with a window... I was very disappointed and if I had been alone, I wouldn't have stayed for dinner... for the rest, I think charging €3 for a cover that isn't there isn't very nice... a plate on the table without even a paper placemat... but at least a cloth napkin... I wasn't crazy about the service either... telling me I can have a glass of wine and then only offering me a Trento Doc because it just opened, not even in a mountain restaurant... the charcuterie board was average for other places... the bacon with mashed potatoes was good... I was very disappointed with my expectations. disappointed.....

Excellent location, acceptable cuisine, but with a long way to go. The final bill is suitable for the location, but a little less so for the cuisine... Definitely room for improvement...

We had dinner last night. They recently reopened under new management. The location is beautiful. It's divided into several small rooms with an old-world atmosphere. Since there were two of us, we were seated in the room where the wheat collectors are still standing, and where there are only tables for couples. All the staff are very young and very courteous and attentive. They are very quick to serve delicious and carefully prepared food. The appetizers are excellent, both the tartare and the poached egg with truffle shavings. The tortelli, both green and pumpkin, are excellent. The only thing I didn't like was the soffritto that accompanies them. The berry cheesecake for dessert is also excellent. I'd say they deserve a good rating for everything. There's also a garden area that can be used on warm summer evenings. 👏👏👏👏

We stayed at this recently restored old mill and were enchanted by the beauty of the structure. The cappelletti were the highlight, truly exceptional! As were the casagai, truly delicious. Professional and courteous service. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
