Ristorante il Mosaico In Matelica

A pleasant lunch in a typical Marche restaurant on Ferragosto (August 15th). A Google Maps search revealed it to be an excellent restaurant. Excellent first courses... tasty appetizers and exquisite sliced steak... to finish with delicious desserts. Excellent service and excellent value. A very small... very small... tip... after ordering from appetizer to dessert and coffee... an after-dinner drink/coffee would be the icing on the cake... to offer to customers. Highly recommended.

There's not much to say, Alberta is a TOPPPPP cook. Whatever you eat is exceptional... Carbonara is unbeatable for me...

Beautiful location for this tavern in the center of Matelica. We tried the fried food as an appetizer, well cooked and plentiful, the first courses were also quite good. The unbeatable thing, however, is the bill, really low, with an amazing quality-price ratio. Kind staff.

Recommended by a friend, we were thrilled by this place inside an alley but inside it was very welcoming and large! We were welcomed with kindness and availability! But when the dishes arrived we were amazed by the abundance! With 2 appetizers we ate in 3 struggling to finish them ... and they were not served on small plates but on large serving plates! The vegetarian appetizer had mixed vegetables baked with breadcrumbs, a wonderful ricotta rustic and an omelette with small vegetables, artichokes in oil, chard, legume salad and 3 types of cheese the traditional cutting board had another 3 types of cheese, raw ham, loin, 3 types of salami and ciauscolo ... served with a plate of crescia marchigiana! Just with those alone we were super-full! The 4 plates of pasta were enough for double the number of people!!! Two people could eat with one plate!!!! The gnocchi with meat sauce cut with a knife were amazing! The tagliatelle with cream of peppers and sausage and the tagliolini with meat sauce were wonderful!!!! You absolutely have to go and try their entire menu!!!!
