Restaurant 'I Gelsi' In Macerata

The place could potentially be beautiful, but the outside is a bit neglected and messy. Inside, however, it's very quaint and welcoming. There are a few details that could be improved, such as locking the bathroom doors, but overall, it's a nice place. The food, however, was a bit disappointing; perhaps we arrived with too high expectations. We would have liked the Florentine steak, but unfortunately it wasn't available, even though we were the second table to order and it was Easter Sunday. We opted for the rib-eye steak, but it was very sinewy and not at all tender. As for the first courses, the lamb ragù was excellent, while the green gnocchi were rather bland. The service was adequate but very cold, the waiters lacking empathy; a little more smile wouldn't hurt. The price was a bit high due to the meat, but overall, it was fair. Let's just say they left me with little emotion.

Everything is ok, but the coffee leaves something to be desired.

We had lunch with friends after discovering this restaurant while watching an episode of Borghese. I have to say we ate really well, top-notch food, from appetizers to first courses, second courses, and desserts. The only two flaws were the burnt coffee and the changing table in the bathroom. Given the large space, I expected there to be one, especially considering families. The service was average, and the price was fair for what we ordered. Overall, an excellent restaurant.

We attended a Friday evening and were very impressed by the youthful and lively atmosphere, excellent food, to be repeated.

Yesterday we left San Marino for dinner at this beautiful farmhouse. The welcome was excellent, as were the dishes we ordered, and the meat... a 2 kg rib-eye steak cooked perfectly on the grill! The quality/price ratio was excellent. If you're in the area, we recommend trying it. You won't regret it. Thanks to the owners and the excellent staff.

Having met him on an episode of 4 Restaurants, I decided to spend my partner's birthday here. The place is welcoming and very charming, the food is high-quality and beautifully presented. The service is attentive and very professional. The price is more than fair.
