Sabato sera , troviamo posto con l idea di una pizza ma poi si passa al pesce e ci si lascia catturare dal fuori menù.. zuppa di pesce… ormai sempre più tara nei ristoranti. Arriva e che dire un capolavoro ben fatta con a parte pane tostato in più e piatto per gli scarti e l immancabile bavaglino e salviette umidificate ( le cambierei con altre più prestanti) cameriere cortese e disponibile , prezzi onesti . Un ritardo vistoso per la frutta ma superato con le scuse del personale che non sempre arrivano in questi casi . Unica cosa i piatti fuori menù come la zuppa non era da sapersi il prezzo andrebbe comunicato ma ripeto onesto . Sicuramente consigliato !

Locale accogliente, il proprietario è molto gentile ed attento nel servire i tavoli. Abbiamo mangiato il pesce, sicuramente congelato quello usato per i secondi, ma di buona qualità. I prezzi sono piuttosto alti.

This restaurant came highly recommended so on our last night we decided to have a tradition Roman meal in a real Roman setting. It didn’t disappoint! This is a family owned operation and such care and detail goes into every dish, I especially enjoyed the antipasti, saffron risotto and homemade tiramisu and zuppa inglese.

Un pranzo 10 e lode. Ricco antipasto con particolari assaggini di pesce; come primo tagliolini con spigola e limone. Calamari alla piastra come secondo e patate al forno di contorno.

A really nice place to relax and enjoy good food, from land and sea, prepared without frills but with simplicity. Very good mushrooms.

30/06/2025: Wedged between two of the main streets for food and cocktails, Lo Zonzone is a bit overlooked by the everyday tourist, which is perfect for those who want an authentic Italian experience. Food (particularly the pizza) is great and the prices are very good for the area. The negroni also happens to be the biggest I’ve had in Italy and for 7€. If you have a few nights in Rome, give this place a go, you won’t regret sitting outside watching the world go by.
