I happened to be in Nicolosi, and since it's one of the few restaurants open at midday, I tried it. I'll recommend it to my friends.

The restaurant is spectacular in terms of the quality of its food. The dishes are beautifully presented, generous portions, and reasonable prices. The mix of cheeses and cured meats is very generous. So if there are four of you, it's better to order for three. The pasta is spectacular! And the desserts are delicious and homemade. The place is very charming and has a very rustic decor. Parking is available on nearby streets in a blue zone. We went for a very late lunch, after 4 p.m., and the service was very friendly. 100% recommended.

Last night we celebrated my wife's birthday at Osteria Garibaldi and we were able to appreciate that it is a place where the touch of Bacchus is completely evident. The ingredients used by the friendly and passionate owners of the place consist of 100 grams of enveloping family atmosphere, 100 grams of aesthetic care of the location, 100 grams of pampering and efficient service and finally quantities of good food and a superlative pizzoleria. Compliments to Osteria Garibaldi.

A last-minute invitation to lunch in Ragalna, where at that point you only find a few bars or shops and bakeries open, falls through.
On the way back I choose almost at random and "booked" while I was parking in the area in front of another possible alternative, but just to check if they were open.
In short, I ate the best fillet of recent times, an excellent cut, a good portion, masterfully cooked!
Also excellent was the "ricotta and pear" dessert that happily completed the solution to an annoying unforeseen event.
Yes, they say that "if you close a door, a door opens".
And so it was.
P.S.: you should know, at Osteria Garibaldi the door opens outwards; I pushed several times, then rang the bell.

Offer at least one first course with exclusively plant-based ingredients, since even in the menus where you offer only veg ingredients there is contamination of meat.

The service was very pleasant except for one episode of rudeness towards the person who took the order. My eighty-year-old father asks for advice on which pizzolo to choose and is rudely told "there are eighteen to choose from". I intervened by simply saying to recommend the simplest one.

Delicious food but terrible table service and customer care.
Even though the restaurant was still almost empty, we were left with three hungry children without bread or oil at the table waiting for more than 30 minutes for our order.
To make matters even worse, our two-year-old son was also charged for the cover charge. Absurd!
The most scandalous situation of all was at the end with the reaction to our complaint, which was totally unsatisfactory and not up to the quality of the dishes offered. You only receive apologies and explanations regarding the mix-up, but no action is taken to fix the situation. Not even the gesture of being able to help in some way, for example by removing a cover charge or offering a bitter or a dessert. Absolutely nothing. Too bad
