✨ Excellent dishes this evening in Gaeta! 😍 We tasted the tiella filled with escarole (wow!) 🤩, the plate emptier (squid battered and cooked in a pan, double wow!) 🍤 and the fresh pasta with clams... 🍝 We were so full that we couldn't try the desserts, but those looked really tempting too! 🍰
We will try other restaurants in the next few days, but we will definitely return here!

My boyfriend and I, both gluten intolerant, came to dinner in this place with a very welcoming veranda. We enjoyed all the completely gluten-free dishes, from the first course to the dessert, especially made with care and dedication by the chef. Attention to every detail of the service and dinner, gluten-free pacchero cooked to perfection, very fresh and light frying but the decomposed cannoli was the icing on the cake. Absolutely recommended for everyone but especially for those with intolerances or allergies

Every dish is presented in a delicious and simple way, a creativity without exaggerations, without impositions altering the taste of the local tradition. The cozy atmosphere, a little retro, marine style, is pleasant and warm. Chef Davide is kind and considerate to customers, patient and precise in explaining the dishes and the menu. Family atmosphere without glim pretentious excesses of a well-established Chef destined for sure fame. The humility and the intelligence of those who, like Davide, manage your restaurant wisely, manifest themselves with the attention to the customers and your continuous requests for confirmation of the approval of the dishes. Staff kind and considerate. Prices are decidedly low compared to the quality of the products and above all in consideration of the meticulous and particular preparation and presentation. Each dish has a character that reflects the extrovert and friendly character of David. Excellent is diminishing. Thanks Davide.

Our family of 18 traveled to the home town of our family for what we called: GaetaPalooza. A beautiful city by the sea with wonderful friendly people that have a direct connection to the Greater Boston area, specifically Somerville MA.
On the street level below our Hotel (Gajeta) we dropped in for lunch unannounced. The wait staff (Angelo) set up a long table for our family to dine and when he found out our family story (Gaeta to Ellis Island to Somerville MA) he shared his story of living in Somerville and Cambridge. Angelo helped make this Gaeta visit special.
We were on a tight schedule with our tour so Angelo made a number of recommendations that would help expedite the meal. An assortment of 3 of Gaeta's specialty Tiella di Gaeta (mortadella, octopus and vegetable) was delicious. This was something our Nonna used to make for my Dad and something we had hoped to try. Fried Calamari was the best ever, local clams, as well as an assortment of other local antipasto dishes. The food and the service were outstanding.
We had a wonderful start to our Gaetapalooza adventure with outstanding food and new friendships.

Siamo capitati in questo ristorantino per caso camminando per il centro di Gaeta, che dire, semplicemente una gran bella scoperta! Il cibo è veramente ottimo, il pesce è freschissimo, tra l'altro tutti i piatti a richiesta possono essere fatti gluten free, menzione particolare alla pasta gluten free veramente di ottima qualità.
Attenzione ai dettagli, di loro produzione anche il pane senza glutine (e non è da poco trovare il pane nei ristoranti).
Il personale è di una gentilezza unica, simpaticissimi, attenti ai bisogni del cliente.
Abbiamo passato due piacevoli serate.
Sicuramente da tornarci appena sarà possibile.
