A Truly Magical Stay at Il Falconiere We had the most unforgettable experience at Il Falconiere — from the moment we arrived, everything was just perfect. The property itself is stunning, with incredible attention to detail in every corner. You can really feel the care and thought that's gone into creating such a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. A special mention must go to Daniela at the pool — she was so warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Always smiling and attentive, she made relaxing by the pool feel like an experience in itself. The breakfast team was equally amazing. Every morning felt like a treat — the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the service was flawless. They managed to strike that rare balance of elegance and comfort that makes you feel truly at home while being thoroughly pampered. There’s something about Il Falconiere that’s hard to put into words — it’s not just a hotel, it’s an experience. The staff, the setting, the food, the little details… it all comes together so effortlessly. We can’t wait to return.

Lovely yet very expensive and very remote. The breakfast is exceptional and while the restaurant is acclaimed we found the six course meal to be over the top. Everything cost a fortune. 2 of us did yoga for 130 euro. Crazy. The staff is friendly and the setting is to die for. The rooms are nice but not great. Pool and spa are fine. Many mosquitos. Bring bug spray. It’s very nice but prepare to leave with an empty wallet.

bello si, pulito pure, anche curato nei particolari ma, a parte il prezzo alto che sapevamo ( si paga anche il luogo e il nome acquisito) quanto a pietanze mi aspettavo ( nel secondo poca carne ma tutt'intorno al piatto tanto ornamento di verdurine crude) decisamente di più in tutti i sensi, per qualità e quantità anche se è "brutto" riempire i piatti. Niente di eccesivamente particolare e pure il servizio, gentile, molto lento., come un treno a vapore. Siamo tornati indiertro tutt'altro che pienamente soddisfatti. Direi di non sentenziare definitivamente occorre una secondo e anche un terzo grado.

Having previously stayed at another 5-star hotel in Cortona, this experience was a letdown. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work, and when I initially reported it, the reception simply asked me not to touch the controls. A technician later confirmed the issue, but the alternative rooms offered were not suitable. The hotel eventually provided a fan and promised a second one, which never arrived. For a 5-star hotel, attention to detail was lacking, though they did attempt to make amends with a goodie bag and umbrellas at checkout. Unfortunately, the breakfast was also underwhelming by 5-star standards and the Michelin-starred dinner could be better. The one saving grace was enjoying the beautiful stars at night.

Excellent staff, beautiful facility.

Good but not great . Room was just average . Bed was two twins pushed together to form a king . Shower backed up , mildew in shower , broken toilet seat and the food was sub pare in my opinion . Beautiful grounds thou and nice pool .

I honestly don’t know how anyone could say anything negative about this hotel—it’s absolutely stunning. The food was incredible, the service was top-notch, and every detail was perfect. I worked directly with Debora to plan my wedding here, and it was truly a dream come true. We stayed in the Winery Suite and held both our ceremony and reception on-site. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect experience.

Mix perfetto di ambiente accoglienza e cibo. Un pranzo domenicale davvero fantastico dall’inizio alla fine Accolti in modo gentile con grande disponibilità ma mai eccessivamente formale. Atmosfera di grande relax con vista su Cortona e sui colli adiacenti Cibo fantastico sia nelle materie prime che nella preparazione Su tutto spiccano a mio avviso il carciofo con animelle e il petto d’anatra. Rapporto qualità prezzo a mio parere più che giusto. Complimenti e spero di tornarci
