Very welcoming staff, delicious food and great atmosphere.

The food is great, as others have written. So was the service for the most part, though the sommelier abandoned us half way through the wine pairing. The atmosphere is poor. We were put in a small, dark room, with 5 tables. For most of the night, we were the only ones there. If you go, be sure you are seated in the left side of the restaurant, which was light and Iively.

We highly recommend this excellent restaurant. Adorable and very attentive waiters.

An interesting experience. The food was good and the ideas were great, something small was missing, you couldn't have given five stars, but it must be said that it wasn't good. The service and especially the wines were explained very well and competently, it always adds a nice touch when there are so many wines. There is also a picture of the dessert wine, it was great. The atmosphere was good, but it would be nice if the restaurant didn't have such dark shades, or if more effort had been put into the lighting, it would have had a positive effect. Thank you, the whole is well liked.

Marvelous! Beyond the star, excellent tasting menu. Excellent wines. Trained and very kind staff. Refined and welcoming environment. A very good chef at carrying on the family tradition and without forgetting the origins he continues with innovation and enthusiasm. Compliments.

Rimane, a mio avviso, il miglior ristorante di Verona. Una vera magia. Il menù è studiato in maniera molto minuziosa con accostamenti di sapori ed ingredienti più o meno inusuali. Il Sommelier di Sala ha sempre proposto abbinamenti validi e studiati che ho apprezzato particolarmente, non tanto nella ricercatezza del singolo vino ma soprattutto nella capacità di saper creare un accostamento memorabile anche con vini del territorio.

Pro's: Good location, Ambiance inside restaurant, clean, orderly, professionally-trained staff who are quite attentive and accommodating Challenges: Food is average. I have dined at many Michelin 1 and 2 star restaurants throughout Europe. Il Desco food was very good quality, well presented and well prepared but it lacked appeal to the taste palate and thus memorability. We choose 4 courses but the 3 wine pairing option (there was no 4 wine pairing option). So, one of our wine selections by the sommelier was off: the second and third course needed a different choice for what we ordered. You would think that for nearly 140 Euros for 3 glasses of wine over the same 4 courses that the sommelier would be able to process that challenge. Would I dine here again? Probably not. Would I recommend it to others? Probably not. I would recommend other dining options in Verona.
