Delicious food, nicely decorated, relaxed ambient and with the best and warmest service.

Highly recommended. We had the egg yolk with truffle, foie gras fillet, and grilled lamb. Everything was delicious.

Very elegant and expressive place. Loved the atmosphere, the staff was great and the food excellent. They do cater to tour groups and a group of about 30 came in after us and filled the place up, but they were on a fixed menu and miraculously did not affect our food or service at all.

Mid-September 2025 - Thursday evening dinner Service - Excellent!- we we served by an experienced woman who had such a professional, yet warm manner, speaking in soft tones with good English, giving a sense of privacy and clearly paying attention to our needs but without constantly bothering us Room and Table - A good space, nicely decorated and with the open cooking fire as a feature - it would have been a very good experience had their been more diners and a more vibrant atmosphere Food - menu very traditional - the Amarone risotto was good as was the mushroom risotto but the fire-grilled local meat was disappointing - not the cooking but we think that the meat quality was not as good as it could have been Wine - a selection of half-bottles allowed for more flexibility on ordering and the half-bottle of the good quality Amarone was very enjoyable We would go back but would seek out a busier night.

We went for dinner this evening. Excellent service, friendly and welcoming staff. The food was delicious. The fillet steak with Amarone and the sliced ​​beef melted in your mouth! Recommended!!!

The atmosphere was welcoming and well-organized, and the service was excellent, although I would have preferred them to ask me how the main course was, since I ordered beef fillet in Amarone (€32) and it wasn't cooked to my liking. The appetizer selection could have been better, in my opinion. Stewed peppers, raw basil cherry tomatoes, eggplant parmigiana, prosciutto, crostini, and cheeses. I left a piece of meat and was asked why, so I told the truth, but it was too late to replace it. Total €68 for myself, including water and a Valpolicella Superiore that I wasn't crazy about. There are wineries I would have preferred, like Marion, Albino Armani, and Brigaldara, which make truly excellent Valpolicella Superiore. A smile from the wait staff every now and then would have been nice. Unfortunately, I don't feel like returning. Overall, I think 3 stars are fair for my experience.

The course menu is cheap and delicious, and the portions of each dish are just right.

The Hotel Giberti recommended this restaurant for our last night in Italy and it did not disappoint ! Several reviews talked about the tasting menu which was a special treat of non-stop delicious food and four different wines. We enjoyed every bite! I will be making their baked mushrooms stuffed with pesto for our next Italian night at home! I would highly recommend Il Cenocola if you are looking for a fine-dining experience. It was a memorable meal for us. We arrived by taxi, but if you are walking, please note that the front door is tucked in a corner so could be hard to spot.

Maravilloso restaurante justo al lado de la plaza de arena en Verona. Ubicación muy tranquila, fuera de los caminos trillados (es un poco difícil de encontrar) , pero gran lugar. Estuvimos allí un domingo por la noche antes de una ópera en la arena y no podíamos haber pedido una cena mejor. Tienen algunos platos que se cocinan en la cocina y algunos cocinados sobre carbón. Nos encanta la parrilla de carbón, así que tanto mi esposa como yo tuvimos el filete con verduras de temporada. Ambos estaban cocinados a la perfección (bife raro para nosotros) y era maravilloso. El personal era muy servicial, dándonos sus opiniones sobre el vino y el menú en sí. Después de la cena, estábamos a solo un par de minutos de la arena donde Aida iba a actuar. Muy buena ubicación, mientras que no en la plaza turística. Volveremos si alguna vez volvemos a Verona.
