We found this place by chance and we have to admit it was a real discovery.
We recommend it to everyone. First of all, the food, besides being plentiful, was delicious. The service and staff were excellent (very kind waiters). We can't wait to go back; they made us feel like family 🥰

The restaurant serves the classic Sicilian pizza, served in a truly generous size. Crispy, flavorful, and generously filled, it's delicious and definitely the place's signature dish.

We ask for lactose-free mozzarella and they say, "Of course there's no problem."
A 10-minute wait passes and they always tell you the same thing everyone else says: "We're out of stock."
But I say to someone who runs a business and potentially receives customers from all over the world on weekends, not to mention in the summer (because that's what we are), how can they still not worry about the customer? You have to be ready to satisfy requests and not postpone them.
It was windy, and they still didn't have a tablecloth holder today, in 2025.
Good food, but you can't leave the rest alone because you have good food...
The customer is tired of situations that happen like they did 30 years ago.

Castello di Bacco – Fried Pizza Worth Applause
The fried pizza here is truly exceptional: crispy, light, and irresistible.
For three of us, we ordered three pizzas, two desserts (including an amazing fried pizza with Nutella), a glass of wine, a peach tea, and two beers. Total: €77—excellent value.
The service is friendly, and the wine list is well-curated.
The only small complaint: the person who appears to be the owner (or manager) isn't the most cheerful person in the room, but that doesn't ruin the experience.
If you're passing through, it's definitely worth stopping by... and letting yourself be won over by their fried pizza.

I really liked the amazing food and the friendly service. If you ever get the change, I recommend eating here. Especially lovely after a walk on Etna.
