Nice and clean environment without many frills. Food prepared with passion and which reflects the Maremma and Tuscan tradition. Porcini mushrooms and game with real and excellent flavors on the palate. Super Maremma acquacotta!! Delicious homemade desserts. A place that reflects the Tuscan tradition and may not be appreciated by customers who only think of useless gourmet fashions and particular social media dishes

per me è la classica trattoria alla buona dove mangi bene e spendi poco. Cucina tipica della zona con una buona scelta di piatti. Personale gentile disponibile e cucina veloce nella preparazione delle portate. Se devo fare una critica tavoli magari un pò troppo vicini uno con l'altro, ma non si può avere tutto soprattutto con questi prezzi veramente convenienti.

One of the best Florentines and desserts I've ever eaten. We booked the Florentine the same morning. We ordered a couple of first courses, starter, wine and wild boar as a side dish. Final bill: €32 even less than we expected.

Immediately welcomed warmly, and certainly we were not outdone, they made us sit outside, at the booked table! Excellent food, excellent service with the waiter/"I presume co-owner" very nice, always ready with a joke and always polite. For 2 adults plus a 1 year and 3 month old dwarf we spent 85 but I didn't miss anything: appetizer, wine, first course with truffles, sliced ​​meat with mushrooms and desserts; my partner ate half as much as me but was super full and satisfied at the end of the meal... like me anyway.

06/12/2024: Very simple and genuine restaurant just as the owners immediately appeared genuine. A little hidden in the Campone area of ​​Porto Santo Stefano, at first glance it doesn't impress you much with how its entrance looks. But then, as I was saying, inside it's a whole other world, in a positive way. Fish menu that varies according to availability. The fried anchovies are excellent and the pasta seasoned with a superlative red mullet sauce is delicious. The kindness of the owner, the good house wine and the reasonable price positively accompanied our lunch.
06/12/2024: Trattoria molto semplice e genuina così come sono subito apparsi genuini i proprietari. Un poco nascosta in zona Campone a Porto Santo Stefano, a prima vista non ti impressiona molto per come si presenta la sua entrata. Ma poi, come dicevo, all'interno è tutto un altro mondo, in positivo. Menù di pesce che varia a secondo della disponibilità. Ottime le alici fritte e squisita la pasta condita con un superlativo sugo di triglie. La gentilezza del proprietario, il buon vino della casa e il prezzo ragionevole hanno positivamente accompagnato il nostro pranzo.

22/10/2024: Visited twice. First time the service was fine and the food was delicious. Second time the owner was happy to see us again, but the service was extremely slow and disinterested even though half the restaurant was empty. The waiter didn't even initially bother supplying us with the necessary cutlery to eat the starters. Had to ask for olive oil as well despite that everyone else had it on the table. The pasta with porcini tasted watery and bland. After asking for parmesan cheese to make it more edible, the waiter found it necessary to ridicule our request by loudly asking a group of Italian diners if they would put cheese on a pasta dish with mushrooms in it. So yeah, we didn't really feel like going back a third time.
