A unique venue in an old but beautifully kept setting... elegant... spotlessly clean (including the bathroom)... impeccable service and excellent food... I particularly enjoyed the house appetizer!! Well done!

Impeccable service from start to finish, with attentive, friendly, and attentive staff, without ever being intrusive. The setting is quaint, with attention to detail, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes the experience even more enjoyable. Every course, from appetizer to dessert, was perfect: quality ingredients, balanced flavors, and meticulous presentation. A truly memorable dinner, both for its flavor and hospitality. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location in the center of Martina Franca.. clean and pleasant environment.. courteous service.. the dishes were good but they didn't amaze me.. unlike the prices which certainly need to be reviewed.

Exceptional staff, welcoming, helpful, excellent food, I would have given 5 stars unfortunately some plates were chipped, and in a place like this that is not good, however I thank the staff for everything.

We went there for lunch: the welcome was warm and the place is very beautiful. Everything was delicious and we really appreciated the recommendations and advice for dishes and wine. As a little bonus, the lady who served us gave us good recommendations for exploring the surrounding area. In short, a great place!

We went to the Templari restaurant for a family lunch, specifically for my son's baptism, and it was a pleasant confirmation for me.
We started with appetizers, several courses, all delicious.
Next, we had homemade pasta dishes, all delicious, but the ravioli with shrimp and grouper are especially worth trying.
For the main course, we had sliced beef, very tender and truly delicious.
Excellent food and impeccable service,
Maria Pia never let us miss anything.
I can't wait to go back.

Absolutely a 5-star restaurant. The raw materials are sourced locally and grown according to historical standards (the Duke's gardens docet). The composition is superb.
It was Sunday, so as described, or rather, codified by Bernardo di Chiaravalle, we chose meat, a little as an appetizer (capocollo and prosciutto crudo). My first course (dish of the day) was excellent: a very low-fat sausage with a fifth-quarter portion that benefits the liver and iron content. It was a sausage that paired perfectly with caedoncelli, very fresh pasta (I think it was made with Senatore Cappelli flour).
And, for the second course, a roast worthy of Martina Franca. The meat was perfectly aged, but this time the sausage was different, just right for being eaten without sauce, a little fattier. How could I not mention the BOMBETTE? I was already full, but I found space in my orbitofrontal cortex and secondary insular cortex. The truth is that for both lobes, the whole lunch was a feast.
Dulcis in fundo, the dessert was a peppermint panna cotta that reminded me of appetizers (peppers) and reminded me how mint has been grown in the Salento garden since the dawn of time, or rather, widely. It is a plant defined as inter-row, meaning its antiseptic and "insecticide" properties are exploited even during cultivation, in full cultural synergy.
This gives the vegetables an aftertaste that is not due to the added mint ingredient but is in the genes.

My wife and I stopped here early in the evening. I think they may have been just opening up as it was only around 7p. Even so, they welcomed us in. It was a bit chilly out so we ate inside where the atmosphere was nice, elegant, and warm. Tried the ravioli with burrata and cappicola ham which was amazing. Also tried the Boconotti which was really good as well. Service was attentive, and food was fantastic. Definitely venture out a bit from the more touristy parts of town and give this one a try!

Do not hesitate and try this place when you are in Martina Franca.
This is a really special place only 4min (280m) away from the Palazzo Ducale, and the experience, venue and food ... are simply AMAZING.
Both with an inner option and a beautiful terrace for the sunny days.
Work as a tour leader around the world, so I've tried quite a few restaurants.
We were 28 people ... So this could be the equivalent to 28 reviews in one.
AWESOME food, lovely calm atmosphere and excellent service. The whole team with Maria Pia at the front, did EVERYTHING to make us happy.
All in all ... A lovely experience that wrapped up our day in Martina Franca, on a really nice way.
The best restaurant I've tried in this city, and I've been there a few times.
Try it folks.
You won't regret.
