Traveling with celiac disease can be difficult so we decided to plan a trip around a hotel offering meals that cater to gluten free diets. We chose Hotel Villa Madonna in Alto Adige and were extremely happy with our week-long stay. It included gluten free half board meals (breakfast & supper, daily) and a free guest pass permitting free travel on all regional transportation in the area. The property was nice, the room comfortable and very clean, and the view spectacular. The supper offerings were varied and tasty, with a few surprises thrown in, to our delight, and safe - thank you to the chef and kitchen! Everyone on staff, at both the hotel and in the restaurant, was friendly and helpful - it felt like we were leaving a few friends behind by the time we left. Gabriele, Roman, and Lara at the front desk made sure we were looked after - and were ever patient with our mix of beginner Italian and English. Although many fantastic servers looked after us in the dining room, Facundo was our main server, always greeting us with a smile, making sure we were happy with every dish on the table, and sharing tips and experiences from his explorations of the region. We definitely recommend this lovely place.

An unforgettable stay in this corner of paradise, both environmental and gastronomic. We can't wait to return.

My dad loved coming here... He was right! The view is fantastic and relaxing. The food is tasty and varied, suitable for both celiacs and non-celiacs. It's child-friendly, with outdoor games and an indoor kids' club. And there's a lovely pond with two carp that are open to being petted.

I booked a dinner for two in July 2025, and the experience left us speechless! All the dishes were perfect, with authentic, refined, yet traditional flavors. The best gluten-free I've had in 12 years. Thank you so much, highly recommended.

Two wonderful days, thanks to the wonderful hospitality. Stunning location, with a beautiful front garden, a children's playground, and a soccer field. There's an indoor children's playroom and a ping pong room. For those who wish, there's also the option of attending Sunday Mass in the little church in front of the hotel. Beautiful, spotlessly clean rooms. Special mention for the cuisine and pastries. They're top-notch for gluten-free options. Dreamy desserts, incredibly delicious. Well done!

Very beautiful and clean facility; the gluten-free cuisine is amazing, and they're very attentive to those like me who, in addition to celiac disease, have an intolerance to milk proteins and dairy products. The staff is helpful, extremely kind, and attentive, from the dining room staff, the reception staff, the fantastic chef, and the superb pastry chef. Strategic location for reaching any location or service by public transportation (cable car, town center, bus station with buses to nearby towns). If I could, I would have given it 10 stars. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.
