Gasthof Krone In Ora

Good, but not 'very good'. We had a number of comments after our visit to this restaurant today. I read very good comments in the reviews and also that it was often full. However, when we were there, there was only 1 other table occupied. We sat in an almost empty restaurant. I personally find that a bit less pleasant. Lots of people and atmosphere around you creates a pleasant atmosphere. Maybe we went at a time when not many people go to restaurants (Tuesday evening). A second point that made it less pleasant was the waiter. He was very correct and friendly, but I noticed that he was not feeling 100%. So I wish him the best of luck! He often had to wrinkle his nose, occasionally coughed and once showed with a hand gesture that he had a headache. Presumably he was (becoming) ill. A third final point was the location. The fluorescent lights and less warm decor gave me a less cozy vibe. Of course, 'tastes differ' applies here. For the rest this restaurant was certainly okay. Tasty Carpaccio and tasty canderli. This would certainly have been a different experience with a full restaurant and a waiter who felt 100%.

For lunch we had cheese dumplings on cabbage and a schnitzel with a side dish - very tasty. Super friendly service - we'll be back

Es ist ein tolles silvolles Speiselokal mit Auszeichnungen. Wir habe sehr gut gegessen und sind vom Wirt liebevoll verwöhnt worden.

Wir waren schon öfters gerne dort Essen und das Essen war immer sehr gut. Heute wollten wir auch wieder hin, innen war leider alles besetzt und reserviert, wir wollten uns gerne bei diesem schönen Herbstwetter aussen hin setzen, zumal auch Leute aussen sassen. Uns wurde gesagt, dass das nicht geht. Waren sehr enttäuscht, wenn die Wirtsleute nichts verdienen wollen, dann weiter so und zahlende Gäste abweisen.

Insalata grande con canederli molto ricca, molto buono il tortino al cioccolato. Piatti colorati e ben presentati e cameriera gentile. Locale consigliato!

Polite and attentive service, excellent food.

Für einen kurzen Mittagsstop im Gasthaus zur Krone angehalten. Das war kein Fehler. Hier kann man wirklich sehr gut essen. Es gab Käse Nockerln und Vitello Tonnato. Besser kann man die Gerichte nicht zubereiten. Das Vitello war zart rosa gegart und die Thunfisch Sauce war perfekt zubereitet. Schade war, das wir nicht draussen sitzen konnten. Aber Sonntags Mittag ohne Reservierung ist auch das kein Wunder, wenn ein Restaurant solche Qualität hervorbringt.
