We stopped for dinner, the place is beautiful, the view was excellent, the staff were kind and efficient, I took a first course of spaghetti with a selection of fish and I give it a pass, the pasta was a little loose from the sauce and seemed pre-cooked (also because it was served to me in 10 minutes) my partner took a caprese with tomato and buffalo mozzarella (in my opinion it was poor, it wasn't whole but 4 slices) of sufficient quality but just enough value for money. My general impression is that it is a place with a tourist menu, however overall I give it a passing grade.

I had a really good time....perhaps the service was a little absent, the waiters were not very attentive....on the contrary, the owner is a golden person. Stunning location.

Mix between great and bad:
The food (tuna tartare as a starter and the seafood spaghetti as a main course) was really very tasty and the ambience with a view of the sea is also very nice.
It feels like you can see the same thing on site as in the reviews here: if you're lucky with the waiter/waitress then you might get nice service, but we were unlucky and our waitress didn't feel like being friendly at all that day.
If you don't care about service/friendliness, you can definitely eat delicious food here.
Tuna tartare + 2x spaghetti with seafood, 2x glasses of wine and a bottle of water for just under €80 is ok.

Friendly staff but the food could be better. We ordered a salmon that did not came with any side dish and there were no options on the menu to order. Litimed vegetarian options

Restaurant at the toll booth, excellent food, very kind and friendly staff, location, my wife and I had lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea, wonderful and romantic, the service was nothing to say, the owner was very helpful and kind, I would recommend it to those who pass through Monterosso, have lunch at the toll booth

Highly recommended fish restaurant by the sea. Even though we hadn't booked, they seated us right away. The terrace overlooking the sea is wonderful. We took two appetizers (stuffed anchovies and stuffed muscles), a first course (pasta with seafood) and a second course (sea bream with potatoes), all the dishes were really very good and of excellent quality of the raw materials, the pasta was a nice generous portion .
The staff were really friendly.
Highly recommended in the evening with the sunset over the sea.
Price proportionate to what we ate and the location.

Today, 4 of us decided to have lunch in this restaurant, I called and booked on the external terrace with a wonderful sea view.
We ordered 2 appetizers, 3 first courses and a fried dish, all fish, a bottle of wine, 3 coffees and 3 ammazzacaffè, I ordered a limoncello and it came with ice, I have never seen a limoncello with ice, but unfortunately the bill was high €178 .00, I would say expensive and then we have eaten better at this price.
