Beautiful restaurant off the main road in a residential area. Quiet when we arrived, but busy as the night progressed. I had the tortelloni with mushrooms and truffles - to die for. Tiramisu Beatrice for dessert. Very good restaurant

On Saturday evening I was lucky enough to visit the ancient one Hostaria Dante. There was a small hitch regarding the second course but all was forgiven for the excellent quality of the cooked and raw seafood starter. Well done. I will return for sure. Caring staff. Highly recommended

We came to the restaurant because of the good rating it has on Google Maps. I wanted to give a star, but the service of a waitress makes me average my review. If I could, I would give the first waiter zero (0) stars and the second Miss five (5). My partner and I arrived for dinner at 8:45 p.m. At the entrance of the restaurant we are greeted by a young man with glasses and a beard; We tell him in Spanish that we don't speak Italian and he responds that he only speaks English and Italian. In the correct way, I begin to tell him that we want to have dinner, trying to use my cell phone to proceed to explain ourselves in Italian with the Google Maps translator. He doesn't let us continue insisting in a loud tone and in front of the customers to tell us something (we deduced it was whether we wanted to dine inside or outside the restaurant). Finally he tells us to enter the restaurant and offers us a table. We are surprised that the waiter leaves us on the table an ABBREVIATED menu in English and French and not another much more detailed one that they offered to all the other customers, the Italian language being also much more understandable to Spaniards than English or French. We were forced to choose only one dish (octopus) by translating the brief menu into French. Soon a waitress arrives, very friendly (quite the opposite of the colleague) who attended to us at the entrance; correct, educated and also speaking Spanish well enough to understand each other perfectly. People like the first one who served us, if they do not have the education and "tact" to serve tourists from outside Italy, it is better to put them in another job until they learn what it is to serve the public when we are tourists, perhaps in cleaning jobs. of the premises. When paying, my very angry partner took the cards to the waiter and we told him directly that his lack of tact was more a lack of education. We also told them that the care received by EVERY OTHER PEOPLE was excellent. Aside from the incident, the place looks clean and welcoming, the grilled octopus with mashed potatoes and bean sprouts, just right and well cooked. Congratulations to the cook too.
