Ristorante Histoniense In Vasto

Discovered by chance during a stroll in Vasto, this restaurant and bar turned out to be a wonderful surprise! We had a truly pleasant experience. The best "brodetto vastese" we've had in the area: fresh fish, authentic flavors, and truly excellent quality. "Top marks for the cooks" and all the staff!!!!! Highly recommended.

We had no doubts....we're always satisfied with the quality of the products they serve. For New Year's Eve we ordered takeout....everything was excellent. Thank you.

Authentic Abruzzese seafood restaurant, with very friendly staff and great, fresh seafood. We were a little disappointed that the brodetto (massive bowl of seafood stew) had to be ordered ahead, but what we ate was still fantastic. The place is obviously a local favorite. It's small, so make a reservation. Fun fact: Vasto was called Histonium by the ancient Greeks, hence the restaurant's name.
