I stayed at the Helvetia hotel in Porretta Terme for almost a month for a business trip and I can say that it was an excellent experience from all points of view. Firstly the service was excellent: reception staff extremely friendly and helpful, but also the restaurant staff exceptional. Antonio and Federico were always courteous and helpful, very professional and prepared.
Impeccable and always clean rooms. Equally perfect is the spa service with swimming pool, sauna and much more.

I have been frequenting this place for several years, since it was renovated, I take advantage of the external access to the spa which I have always found pleasant, the only flaw is the very small changing rooms, unfortunately we went on Sunday evening and despite the increase in prices I found it neglected, dirty glasses around, dirty changing rooms, flooded and slippery poolside, saunas off, finished herbal teas, a quantity of chlorine that makes your eyes cry.
The staff is always very kind, but let's say that due to the cost and how I've always been used to, I noticed a noticeable deterioration, I was very sorry.

A day at the Helvetia hotel spa regenerates and relaxes body and mind. The combined spa and lunch included are also super recommended.
Courteous and professional staff, excellent service, delicious lunch with the professionalism and kindness of Federico.
I recommend it to everyone.

Beautiful hotel, good location, inconvenient and not very visible parking, excellent staff, I found the catering staff excessive, who were in turn (3), they came to ask if the food was to our liking.
Excellent biotec facial massage, professional staff. They gave me a 25 minute massage for next time, very kind.
Room with central bathtub, soft lights and very romantic relaxing music.

Splendid experience, friendliness, friendliness and great professionalism from all the staff in the various roles.

Beautiful hotel! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Relaxing and well maintained spa. The staff is very kind and competent.
Abundant and varied breakfast with friendly and helpful staff.
The possibility of having a late check out allowed us to have the room and access to the spa available until 7pm on the day of departure.... Excellent for fully enjoying our stay.
Spa kit included was really excellent.
In the room there is a coffee machine with pods available for free and always refilled.
The restaurant is of a high standard with a varied and never predictable menu with competent and never intrusive staff.
On Christmas day we were also given a very welcome gift!!!

We came with my friend for a spa day so I can't rate the rooms. At the reception we found unkind and annoyed staff. Small changing rooms with two shower cabins for all the people in the spa. We ate at the restaurant. We took a cream soup with ginger and carrots and it was inedible due to the large quantity of ginger (left there) and at the reception they were no less worried about apologizing and showing us the bill with a receipt with the final amount... we paid without even knowing what. .
This hotel does not deserve 4 stars, I'm sorry..
