It's just become my favorite Eritrean restaurant. Zighini reminded me of Samson. Truly perfect.

We booked for two with the TheFork discount and were very satisfied. The food was very good and the place was unique. Pictured is a chicken zighini and the menchithabesh, a great portion for two. Recommended

A wonderful evening at this Eritrean restaurant! Warm welcome and authentic cuisine. The rolls were delicious, soft and crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside! :) An intense and authentic journey of flavors. A wonderful experience unlike any other! We'll definitely be back! :-)

A welcoming and intimate place, seating a maximum of twenty. The food met our expectations, with generous portions. The waiter made us feel at ease right away and was fantastic. Recommended!

Eritrean and Ethiopian cuisine, a comfortable atmosphere, furnished with traditional tables, with interesting and beautiful ethnic objects visible under the glass tabletops. Excellent food, accompanied by generous platters of wholemeal. Courteous and efficient service. I recommend it.

We chose to eat at Hdmona based on both the positive reviews and the 50% discount on The Fork. The place is very welcoming, but even though we booked in advance, they relegated us to a table near the entrance, meaning we didn't fully enjoy the experience. Excellent food and generous portions; they brought both portions to us on a large plate in the center that we shared. With the 50% discount, we paid €33.50 for two sambusas, a beef zighini, and a vegetarian one, water, and Ethiopian beer. All in all, not bad.

A different experience for me, trying a cuisine so different from our own. Let's just say you have to like some strong flavors, like the sour bread (it's a rolled flaky bread), but I was happy to try it, even though I asked for a fork, whereas their culture dictates eating with your hands. The gentleman who served us was kind, and the service was quick. The atmosphere was quiet, conducive to conversation.

I love the Ethiopian-Eritrean dishes and it was very good, better than expected. Very friendly and easygoing staff also, more than simply professional. Highly recommended to try this wonderful cuisine and restaurant. Easy to reach with public transport, and close to nice pubs to continue the evening.

A place with attention to every detail, intimate and with a very pleasant atmosphere. We are not experts in Eritrean cuisine but we really liked the dishes. The owner is really kind and attentive to every need. Recommended!
