Well maintained and cared for park. Ticket cost per adult €8. Perfect for families even with a stroller. You walk along a pre-established route and encounter many species of well-kept animals. The most beautiful attraction are the raccoon bears. I recommend taking the pet food box to have a little more contact.

The wildlife park in Dobbiaco is striking for the large number of mountain animals, many of which are native (wild boars, lynxes, foxes, goats, donkeys, pigs, farm animals, etc.). The peculiarity is the route which is all uphill and with various differences in altitude. The place is well kept, the enclosures are large and clean and the animals are not neglected. The route can be completed in a short time, obviously for those with children the pace is much slower. Along the route, benches, tables and relaxation areas to admire the panorama of the valley. We took a sachet of the mixture (2 euros) and the food was fine for many very greedy animals. The animals are used to the presence of humans and are often close to the enclosure to be petted and above all to look for food. Opening earlier than what Google reported, we thought we would have to wait half an hour, but instead it was already open and operational.

The animal park is very beautiful and suitable for children of all ages. Bring 50 cent coins to get food for the raccoons.

It was great there, we were a bit irritated by the €8 entrance fee per adult. In hindsight, it was absolutely worth it.
The zoo was much larger than initially thought. There are lots of baby animals and we took some nice photos.
You can park behind the barrier at no extra cost.
Please note that the zoo is located on a slope, there are significant ups and downs. But the stroller will work.
Have fun
The natural park is wonderful, there are many animals, although it seems small, it is not at all. It is possible to buy food to feed the whole park although I highly recommend trying to give grass that you can collect around the fences. For example, the rabbits liked it a lot, almost more than the kibble, the same thing for the deer. I would also like to point out that when I visited the park, the rabbit enclosure had no water, perhaps the pipe was broken? If it were possible to check it would give me a lot of relief as I saw one of the small specimens having to drink from muddy water.
For the rest, everything was perfect, clean and well maintained, with signs to inform the public which animal it is, and food dispensers along the route.
I suggest bringing lots of €0.50 coins (for the feed dispensers) and watching out for both ferrets and emus! 🐇❤️
