Ho conosciuto questo ristorante, grazie a The Fork, diversi anni fa. Ieri sono ritornato e devo dire che ha mantenuto la sua qualità di alto livello. Molto bene!

Il centro di Firenze è colmo di ristoranti tourist trap, al Giglio Rosso si mangia bene davvero, i piatti sono raffinati e ben presentati, il conto è più leggero. Dessert home made. Carta dei vini ottima. Consigliatissimo.

I went to this restaurant with my school because I was on an educational trip. As a first course we were served pasta with wild boar ragout, even though it wasn't much and there wasn't much sauce overall it was good, as a second course we had three slices of pork loin with very few baked potatoes and tiramisu as dessert, the portions unfortunately left something to be desired as they were very small. The staff were very attentive, in fact as soon as the water ran out they brought it back and for the first time I asked for parmesan and they brought it to me immediately.

Very honest prices, generous portions and many choices of both pizzas and other dishes. You are truly spoiled for choice!
The service was fast and precise, we didn't have to wait long even at a busy time.
The waiters are super friendly and helpful, always with a smile and ready to lend a hand or recommend something.
We had a great time and will be back for sure.

We went into the restaurant because we were very well received by the owner who told us it was a great restaurant and, for us, it really was.
We received warm and very good bread as a courtesy. There was a wine list for those who like it.
We ordered a wild boar meat parpadelle and a carbonara. Both were wonderful and well served. I would like to point out that the guanciale was softer than other carbonaras I have had and I really liked it, especially the smoked one that seemed to have herbs.
My experience at lunch was excellent.

A place near the station where I ate excellent Tuscan cuisine. Mimmo's welcome is unparalleled.
