A friend and I stumbled upon this place by chance while passing by on our way to the tram stop, and I have to say it was a lovely discovery. Delicious first and second courses, friendly and helpful staff. Not to mention the price, excellent value! Highly recommended! I'm sorry I didn't discover it earlier, but it's definitely a must-try if I ever return to Florence!

The food is delicious. I really enjoyed it. The steak was tender and fragrant. As for the pasta, the fettuccine was pretty standard. The taste was similar. The place is a bit cramped, so more air circulation is needed. This is one of the restaurants I have visited.

Great steak, the flavor especially the char was really excellent. Minimum size is pretty big about 20+ oz, and sold by the 100 gram, if you are not used to that measurement system, but price is reasonable compared to typical American steakhouses. Also served pretty rare, typical of the area (they don't ask how you want it cooked).

Food is gorgeous, we shared the Gnocci and was perfect size, so creamy it was beautiful. The steak was cooked perfect rare/medium rare very juicy and full of flavour however would of liked some sauce to go with it. Also would been nice to have some background music. However overall was a lovely evening with some fantastic food.

Ho conosciuto questo ristorante, grazie a The Fork, diversi anni fa. Ieri sono ritornato e devo dire che ha mantenuto la sua qualità di alto livello. Molto bene!

Il centro di Firenze è colmo di ristoranti tourist trap, al Giglio Rosso si mangia bene davvero, i piatti sono raffinati e ben presentati, il conto è più leggero. Dessert home made. Carta dei vini ottima. Consigliatissimo.
