Restaurant très accessible. Cadre agréable ; une recommandation toutefois : poser des rideaux occultants de teinte plus claire que le beige actuel qui semble "poussiéreux". Service très professionnel mais peu empathique. Cuisine simple avec des produits de qualité. Vins (au verre) excellents. Prix trop élevés pour des plats finalement "basiques"

Recently, my wife, our 8-month-old child, and I decided to spend an evening dining at Giannino dal 1899, and what an exquisite experience it turned out to be. The value for money here is simply unmatched—each dish was crafted with care and precision, offering delightful flavors that danced on our taste buds. The cuisine deserves high praise for its creativity and mastery. The staff at Giannino dal 1899 were the epitome of warmth and responsiveness, making our visit exceptionally comfortable and pleasant. It was particularly important for us, being with a baby, to have comfortable seating. The restaurant accommodated us with a spacious spot, ample enough for our stroller, allowing us to enjoy our meal and conversation in peace. Moreover, the thoughtful layout of the restaurant deserves a mention. The space is arranged to feel open and airy, creating a perfect atmosphere for quiet conversations and savoring the culinary delights without the distraction of noise and bustle. I highly recommend Giannino dal 1899 to anyone looking for a place with exquisite food, top-notch service, and a cozy ambiance. Our visit left us with nothing but fond memories, and we eagerly anticipate our return.

Elegant environment, pretentious service but it could be more attentive (if the bottle of white wine is not within reach of the diners, you must be careful that the glasses are never empty) and clear in the proposals (you offer me a bubbles as an aperitif and I discover that yes It's champagne for a minimum of 15 euros per glass. Among other things, it tastes a little like cork). Traditional Milanese menu, but I have definitely eaten better. The bill, on the other hand, is very respectable. The glasses are beautiful

A beautiful restaurant, pleasant accompanying music and good service. Unfortunately, the best thing about the meal was the very good side dishes (bread and well-fried potatoes). The starter (various vegetables with extremely little hummus, see photo) as well as the pumpkin soup and the main course were too boring for me without much acid, and the fried cuttlefish was too dry for me. At 165 euros for 2 people (1 starter, 2 soups and 2 main courses as well as 2 bottles of water) I expected more.

Wie wurden gestern Abend sehr zuvorkommend hinein begrüsst. Der Service war Exzellent und makellos. Das Restaurant hat eine grosse wein Auswahl die uns auch nicht entäuschte. Am meisten begeistert war ich von der Tiramisu mit Erdnuss creme. Wirklich eine gelungenes Reastaurant!!

Buona presentazione dei piatti, così come la qualità delle portate. Migliorabile la carta dei vini che presenta quasi esclusivamente etichette di pregio, con ricarichi piuttosto notevoli. In generale comunque il ristorante si conferma di altissimo pregio.

Classical, comfortable with impaccable service. Food is traditionally great with attentive service and a discrete atmosphere. Definitely consider this place if you are looking for a quiet evening. 10/10.
