Ristorante Giagoni in piazza In Olbia

We ate at Giagoni in San Panteleo our last night in Sardinia. The garden area is charming and the service very good. The food was delicious! It ranks in our top and for the price it was better than the Michelin starred restaurant we had eaten at earlier in the week which had amazing food, but for twice the price. The was overall a hidden gem right next to the church on the piazza.

The food was amazing. It is very pricey, mains are 40-60€ and are quite small. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Desserts were amazing (but small). They serve you a welcoming appetizer and coffee treats. The atmosphere was lovely, and the place itself was very fancy! We were 6 and had a fantastic evening!

Last night in Sardinia and meals so far have been excellent - until now. What an end to the holiday, this restaurant surpassed everywhere we had been. Service excellent, taking time to explain everything that was being served, food excellent - had the beef which hardly needed cut and melted in the mouth, dessert was, trying not to overuse the word, excellent and an atmosphere that was so tranquil it was a sin to leave. Overall the perfect experience, thank to all the staff for making our last night one to be remembered.

This place is pricey but the food is delicious and well proportioned. We had the octopus appetizer which had the hugest tentacles I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant and we also ordered the lobster pasta which was by far the best pasta seafood pasta I had on this island, and the ravioli which I believe had prawn stiffed in with cheese. Delicious is an understatement.. COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF!!! The waitresses were super friendly and attentive, they always checked in with us and made sure we were always taken care of with drinks and food as needed. You get what you pay for in life and we got extraordinary service and tasty food. Thank you guys for the amazing experience we shared at your restaurant. As far as the setting, it was a bit hard to find but we did land here and got seated indoors which was great being that it was a bit windy outside. We sat in the indoor alone as most people sat outdoors and it was very intimate. The lights dimmed and the mood was set for the “romantic dinner” we expected.

On a holiday we were looking for dinner. We fell in love with the setting and booked a table. The food, pricey as it was, was amazing! The portions were smaller but left us room for desert. Everything tasted amazing, the service was actually very good. A lot of very alert and kind young people working really fast. I am quite surprised by a few of the bad reviews I have read, my expirience was 10/10. I did not drink wine or any alcoholic drinks so I cannot judge about that.

We had 10 different plates in Total and everything was delicious, the servers were friendly, calm and even trained to help us get good lighting on our photos. The setting was incredibly beautiful, the best Place in whole San Pantaleo.

Incredible food, atmosphere, and above all the best staff. They are hard working and diligent. They don’t miss a beat. Unpeeled experience. Worth the price.

You pay a lot only for the location. Food and sevices are just ok. Music is loud. In general it lacks elegance. Next time I will go back to Porto Rafael

Ristorante collocato in una deliziosa piazzetta. Alle spalle, suggestivi monti granitici. Cibo ottimo. Servizio attento. Speriamo che l’alta stagione non abbassi il livello.
