Where should I begin! The food was good to very good, but the portions are something to be considered for the price. The waiter cleared the plates while the other two guests were still eating. At the end, I paid the bill in cash and received a handwritten note!

Review – Garibaldi Restaurant, Sottomarina After a week of eating poorly and wasting money, we finally stumbled—by pure chance—onto this corner of paradise. A place where top-quality seafood takes center stage, accompanied by attentive and professional service that's rare nowadays. From the raw antipasto to the mixed boiled meats, every dish was a small masterpiece: excellent ingredients, perfectly cooked, clean and authentic flavors. You can sense the love and respect for tradition, with a touch of modern elegance. Regarding the price: many people only look at it, but here it's consistent with the quality offered. It's better to spend a little more to eat well, be served courteously, and have a pleasant evening, than to save money and then regret it—perhaps with a sleepless night. Congratulations indeed: we can't wait to return!

The raw fish is fantastic but (I would add two oysters or something else local), the polenta alla buscata was fabulous but not enough (it was so good), the first courses were very good but not enough, I would like to recommend two points to improve and reach excellence (for me), quantity based on the price Fantastic owners, kind and passionate ❤️ I recommend the chef (open kitchen) *if you put the kitchen in view if something falls (a wooden spoon), WASH it before reusing the equipment 😅

Trovato grazie alle belle recensioni...meritatissime! Piccola sala, con pochi tavoli ma atmosfera accogliente. I titolari, la signora serve ai tavoli ed il marito è lo chef in cucina, sono due belle persone, cordiali e disponibili. La signora ha soddisfatto ogni nostra curiosità sulle pietanze e oltre ad un piccolo entrèe di benvenuto ci sono stati serviti altri assaggi durante il pranzo, oltre a quanto da noi ordinato. Il pane, fatto in casa, è servito caldo in un cestino con sotto delle pietre calde per mantenere la temperatura. Il piatto di crudo aveva, oltre all'ottima qualità, una varietà che non ha finora avuto eguali. Ottima la grancevola e le masenette, l'insalata di seppie con carciofo fritto, bottarga e pere. Delicato il millefoglie di rombo con finferli e zucca e sublime la zuppa inglese cosi come l'assaggio di crema fritta e i biscottini serviti con il caffè. Che dire, ci siamo sentiti coccolati. Il prezzo è di sicuro un pó sopra la media ma per nulla esagerato vista la qualità. Lo consigliamo e sicuramente ritorneremo, lo meritano i titolari per la passione che mettono nel loro lavoro e il buon cibo che servono.
