We ate lunch today. Since it was August 15th, the place was obviously packed. The staff were very kind and helpful, the dishes were very good, and the price was fair. We'll definitely be back.

The inn recommended this place, so we went there for dinner. We started by raising a glass of Prosecco. We ordered rabbit Bolognese, a meat dish, and a dessert called ‘Bonnet’. Although they were local specialities, everything was absolutely delicious and paired perfectly with the wine.

Everything was perfect! A typical, elegant, and very well-kept restaurant. The quality of the dishes was excellent! The staff were incredibly kind! We ordered the Valsesian appetizer and beef carpaccio with bagna cauda. Polenta with braised beef cheeks, risotto with toma cheese and wine, and tagliatelle with mushrooms. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back! 👍

Excellent family lunch, inviting menu, and excellent, beautifully presented dishes. My only suggestion is to indicate if you have chopped pistachios, even if they're just for decoration, so you know in case you have any allergies.

14/12/2025: I went to Trattoria Montonero with friends for a pre-Christmas dinner and was truly satisfied. The atmosphere was welcoming, perfect for an evening with friends. The menu offered several traditional local dishes. I particularly enjoyed the panissa, which I found truly excellent. The other dishes my friends ordered were also very popular, a sign of authentic and well-prepared cuisine. The staff was friendly and helpful, helping make the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely return to Trattoria Montonero and recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic place to enjoy excellent local food.
13/12/2025: A restaurant just steps from Vercelli. Excellent panissa, very good fritto misto, plentiful and not greasy, served in batches so it's always hot. Very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.
