Good food in the historic center of Volterra. Traditional recipes for years, dishes prepared with attention to detail and above all good. Eating there is like going back in time. The staff is attentive, welcoming and smiling. Highly recommended

Very friendly staff, not quite perfect, but good food (Florentine steak) at a reasonable price. A highlight are the cantuccini, which is similar to the Bsoffene Liesl (a kind of German dish) here in Burgenland.

The food was okay, but nothing outstanding. The Caprese was expensive, but not recommended. The tomato hadn't been properly removed, and the buffalo mozzarella wasn't particularly tasty either. The pizza was more expensive than usual in Tuscany and wasn't outstanding either, but of course, you have to pay for the ambiance here. All in all, okay if you're hungry, but nothing special. When we asked if we could take a different table than the one suggested, we were simply shown the other one in an annoyed manner. Otherwise, the service was quite fast.

Locale al centro di Volterra, da un primo impatto sembra un locale turistico, in realtà i cibi sono molto buoni. Ottimi gli antipasti di bruschette miste e tagliere, molto buona anche la carne (tagliata e filetto). Ottima scelta di vini locali.
