For seafood lovers, I recommend the spider crab, which is typical of the area. Chioggia. The owner is welcoming.

Excellent restaurant, located in the center of Chioggia. We had a seafood dinner, and as per local tradition, they did not disappoint: excellent fresh fish, especially considering the price! Rich and appetizing dishes, with very quick and thorough service even when the restaurant was full. Also worth trying is the meat-based dinner, which, looking at the menu, makes you want to try it even if it seems "out of place." Highly recommended restaurant!

The pizza fontego (mozerella, tomato, shrimp, rocket, zucchini) was so good! The staff were so helpful and accommodated to our large group.

Three of us had lunch on Sunday. Long waits to order and then to get our entrees. A side dish never arrived. The fish was generally good, well-cooked. The mixed grill was perhaps a little sparse, but acceptable. Prices were reasonable. The location is nice on the outside, but inside it's more anonymous, a typical '90s pizzeria style.

A late summer Friday evening, the outdoor seating area was packed, while the interior space was very spacious. The outdoor space, adjacent to the main avenue, is a beautiful location, with classic furnishings and marble accents inside. The service was adequate, the mixed fried fish was decent, and the quantity was just adequate. The pizza was nothing special.

25/09/2025: We stopped here so we could have a coffee and use the restrooms. Kids wanted something sweet of course! The cannolo was too sweet for my liking and the traditional Venetian Doge biscuit was bright green like shrek! Anyway, can’t complain when in Venice! Service was friendly, coffee good and an extra star for free water without asking :-)
11/09/2025: In Venice, Saturday afternoon: the options were to have coffee standing up in some places (without tables) or go to Starbucks. We went here and not only found a great atmosphere and a table, but we also enjoyed a snack, and they helped me by lighting candles for it since it was my husband's birthday. I'd seen some reviews saying it was expensive—is there anything cheap in Venice? At least I feel like we found a decent, authentic place, compared to Starbucks...
