Good food, nice ambience, very clean and comfortable to sit in. Don't be put off by the bad-tempered waiter and the 3.5 rating.

We had lunch here on August 16th. The restaurant opens onto the square, and eating outside is really pleasant, even in the August heat as there is a lot of shade. We ordered grilled turbot and spaghetti with clams which were really good. The service: professional and kind.

17/01/2025: We visited here twice on our trip to Murano, once in the morning for a late breakfast just after they opened then later for a little lunch before heading to Burano. Our breakfast was a large panini style toastie which was really good and a couple of good coffees with good friendly quick service. We revisited later for lunch and had a table outside along the table, different from our inside table at breakfast. We had a shared Cichetti platter and a beer and a spritz. The cicheti was very good and the drinks were also, service was good apart from maybe the server being too obviously disappointed that we weren't ordering a larger dish. That would be the only real fault we found. Location is great for watching the canal traffic and life going past.
