Ristorante Donna Maria In Vieste

We are staying not far from Donna Maria and were looking for something nice for dinner. We found just what we were looking for. The bread seems to be a house made loaf which is a pleasant change from some who just drop some rando bread in a basket on the table. This bread is good quality. We began with beef carppacio which was delicious, especially the olive paste which provided a natural salty component. My wife had gnocchi with lamb ragu and I enjoyed the mezzi ziti with a rich beef sauce. Both just wonderful dishes. Especially with Negroamaro to pair with. We finished with a Crema di ricotta pugliese dessert that's a regional favorite. It was a wonderful meal and the staff were professional and friendly.

Restaurant located inside a residence, with plenty of parking. A meticulously maintained restaurant with an elegant, rustic style, with tables inside, on the veranda, or by the pool. The service is truly attentive and thoughtful. Instead of bread, they bring the local paposcia, which is delicious. The menu is divided into meat and seafood dishes. We had mussels Vieste-style and gratinated cuttlefish for appetizers, and seafood troccoli and spaghetti with clams for main courses. Everything was delicious. A special mention for the shellfish already cleaned and shelled, so you don't even have to get your hands dirty while eating. For dessert, we were offered the three chocolates: beautiful and delicious, one spoonful leads to another. The organic wine is also excellent and not at all expensive. The prices are in line with those of other restaurants, but the quality is significantly superior. Highly recommended, especially if you're looking for a romantic dinner or a small group dinner, in a very quiet and peaceful setting. The waiters are friendly and attentive.

The Troccoli allo Scoglio were divine. The service was equally as good. The bill was fair.

Everything was delicious!!! The atmosphere is excellent. Pleasant music and the food above all was precise and rich in flavors. The portions are generous and delicious. The service is exceptional.

We had lunch on Ferragosto, a holiday of 15th August, with 7 adults and 5 children. A very positive experience: good food, well-prepared and presented. Despite being the last to arrive, and considering it was a holiday, we were well looked after and ate in a reasonable amount of time. All the dishes were delicious (starters, first courses, and meat), with special mention for the desserts. The wine, bottled on the estate, was also good. The location is also very well-maintained, with a playground for children where they can run around between courses. A must-try.
