Friendly staff, incredibly delicious food, and a stunning view. Highly recommended!

Absolutely better than the reviews. We ate there twice during our vacation and were served promptly and politely, despite a large group and no reservation. The food was extremely delicious. We had pasta, pizza, and seafood, and it was all delicious. The only drawback was the somewhat small portions, but otherwise, a great restaurant on the promenade in Salo.

By far the best Pizza Marinara I’ve ever had! Not too much tomato and perfectly seasoned. The pizza base was also just right, crunchy but still a bit doughy. The view at night was beautiful, you have perfect sight on the Lago Di Garda😍 The staff were super open and friendly! I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant ⭐️

Sehr leckere Calzone und Tagliatelle al funghi zu moderaten Preisen. Traumhafte Lage direkt am See mit fantastischen Blick. Update after 4 years: we ordered the exact same thing and it was still amazing. Kind of selfishly glad about all the negative reviews because we always get a table at this beautiful place and the people that find the way there (it's always packed) are delightful and kind. Lots of locals as well.

Great food and authentic Italian flavors! Space is limited, but the intimate atmosphere and beautiful view from the lakeside promenade create a unique atmosphere. The service is top-notch: friendly, fast, and helpful. A place you'll want to return to.

We visit Don Pedro every year...everything is just perfect! Really everything...the food is perfect, the service is very friendly, and of course, the ambiance is fantastic...we'll be back!!

A long-standing bond has been with my now-deceased friend Piero. The kids have continued the business, and it's worked out very well for them. It's a pleasure to revisit this pizzeria and, after a delicious meal, enjoy the views of Lake Garda before continuing our journey.

The vegetarian pizza was very good – but could have used a bit more topping. The taste was still excellent. We've been to Don Pedro several times and have never been disappointed. Once, we were put off by negative reviews and wanted to try something new – according to reviews, "the best pizza in Salò." Unfortunately, that was a disappointment: poor service, a lackluster salad, and disappointing pizza – we thought we'd ended up in a hidden camera show. Our conclusion: Don't blindly rely on reviews – just try it for yourself! Don Pedro is definitely the better choice.

Don't know what the people who gave this restaurant such bad reviews are talking about. Fine dining it's not, but it doesn't pretend to be. We recently stayed in Salo for a week and ate there every night (apart from one night when it was raining heavily) and had several lunches there as well. The pizza's we had were extremely large and tasted great. The pasta dishes we had were very tasty and authentic - their carbonara was one of the best I've ever tasted and was full of guanciale (cured pork) I personally don't like garlic and they left this out in the other pasta dishes I had. We had the chicken escalope and it was a large piece of meat and I also had the mussels which were good. The staff were great - polite, friendly and efficient. They recognised us every time - 1 waiter even said hello when we saw him on the lake side - away from the restaurant. They were always smiling and we built up a good rapport with them all. We were always made to feel welcome. Service is included in the bill but on our last meal we gave them a 20 Euro tip which they were not expecting and kept thanking us over and over again. We had no problem with the prices..... depending on what we had to eat the highest bill we were given was 60 Euros. This would be for 2 main courses, 2 large beers, 2 lemon sodas and a tiramisu. The best thing is that if you pay cash they give you a discount. We paid cash and we've worked it out that the discounts we received meant we ate for free on one night Would we go back again - too right. Can't wait
