Typical mountain inn with rooms both in the main building where we stayed and rooms in a building opposite. Convenient parking right in front of the structure as soon as you enter the town, a stone's throw from the ski resort, inconvenient to be next to a church with a bell tower which rings all day with chimes. The rooms are not soundproofed so you may wake up at night. However, this aspect does not preclude my positive opinion on the structure. For some it may also be a "gem" but it is my duty to point it out. Basic rooms, ours for 4 was spacious, the only flaw is the bathroom, there is no support surface for the vanity, low cushions which are uncomfortable for us, but these are purely subjective and personal elements. Rich and varied dinner. A different menu is offered every evening. Our package included a choice between a first course, a second course and a side dish. Drinks, desserts and appetizers are extra but the prices are honest. We really liked their cuisine. Also pay attention to our needs. They ordered us some cheese which we really liked for dinner one evening so we could have some sandwiches ready in the morning for a planned excursion. Very kind in exchanging emails before our arrival as well as suggesting an excursion program with a representative from Ronco who we booked and who made us spend a pleasant day in the woods. Keep this in mind because Cati, as it is called, offers different proposals.

We stayed a weekend in this property using a smartbox box. The inn is family-run, everyone is very kind and available for any information, we had dinner and an aperitif, all accompanied by delicious platters, the price is really honest! The location is very beautiful, both for hiking and for going to the slopes to ski. (excellent for beginners) I highly recommend it, especially for families!

Wonderful place, surrounded by nature, suitable for those who want to unplug from the daily routine and relax and regenerate in the midst of nature. The room is really nice, clean and comfortable. The inn is beautiful, really typical and the cuisine is fantastic!! Each dish is delicious, plentiful and of high quality! The price is in line with each product! Even the desserts they produce are one better than the other and the staff is very polite, respectful, kind and helpful. We recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a proper pampering! We will definitely be back and thank you very much for everything!

Local located in the village square and divided into two structures, one for catering and a couple of rooms while the other has other rooms for overnight stays. Possibility of full or partial board, tasting platter snacks. Local products for sale.

The inn is located in Piamprato, the last town in Val Soana, in the Gran Paradiso park. We had a weekend of good food. The dishes are typical of traditional Piedmontese cuisine. The food was excellent, with local products and excellent value for money. Characteristic and refined environment. Welcoming and kind staff. Free parking in front of the property. We highly recommend it!

Siamo saliti a Piamprato, frazione di Valprato Soana a m.1550, in un giorno di quasi estate con pioggia a dirotto! Non era la nostra prima volta in questo ristorante. Ci siamo tornati dopo qualche anno e il nostro giudizio è rimasto positivo. La sala è grande e molto luminosa, tavoli ampi e ben distanziati. Sul menù sono elencati: una degustazione di antipasti, tre primi, tre secondi, formaggi e 5/6 dolci. Abbiamo iniziato con gli antipasti misti che comprendevano: lardo con pane nero e miele di Piamprato, insalata russa, carpaccio di mocetta e vol au vant con fonduta. Tutti ottimi, particolarmente il lardo e l’insalata russa. Abbiamo proseguito con il piatto del giorno: gnocchi di polenta con fonduta alla toma, profumati al timo. Vengono serviti in un caratteristico padellino coi manici. Squisiti! Come secondo brasato al prosecco con verdure miste. Tenero e con un buonissimo sughetto. I dolci sono di loro produzione. Abbiamo scelto un delizioso bonet. Siamo stati serviti dalla titolare, cortese e non invadente. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ampia possibilità di parcheggio.

Very welcoming place in a mountain setting. The friendly and affable managers manage, with their precious work, to make you spend a pleasant and relaxing, regenerating holiday. The building with the rooms for overnight stays is very nice, clean and with attention to detail. Almost opposite there is the local restaurant/bar which has little to envy from restaurants located in other areas. The dishes are typical of traditional Piedmontese and Piampratese cuisine with an excellent cabbage and bread soup, or the "rum and roasted chestnuts" cake. It is worth climbing up to Piamprato to savor and enjoy all this, without distracting yourself from the magnificence of the Gran Paradiso landscape and its beauties. If not all the blades of grass are turned the same way, it doesn't matter. A big thank you goes to the owners and workers of the structure who give life back to a mountain village, full of history and traditions, creating a small paradise, in the Gran Paradiso which allows you to relax and leave behind the tensions and accumulated stress, spending beautiful moments in the mountains of the magnificent landscape of the Park.
