There is no shortage of ice cream shops in Rome, but I have never reviewed any. In the meantime, let's boycott the chains with tubs of ice cream that taste like nothing... Enough! Focus on other sales, not ice cream! I have always been an ice cream enthusiast and I eat it regularly even in winter. I discovered Fattore Gelato at a party at a friend's house where they had brought ICE CREAM CAKES: a fruit version and a chocolate one. I don't think I have ever eaten such a good ice cream cake in my life. It is also the best solution in spring/summer for birthdays or dinners. I went to meet them and Brian, the owner, welcomed me with a warm smile and we talked about how he produces his ice cream: I discovered that he uses only fresh and seasonal raw materials with an exceptional taste result, an aspect that is never taken for granted. Try and share, because artisanal quality should always be rewarded!

Almost 2 years ago I visited this gelato spot that was close to my Airbnb and to this day I still close my eyes and can remember how delicious the gelato was. I would go back to Rome just to eat this gelato again. The Lemon and Strawberry flavours are to die for ! The young gentleman helping us that night was very kind and worked hard and was a pleasure to interact with. I highly suggest a visit to this gelato shop for outstanding gelato! I cannot wait to come back!
