The Il Rio restaurant, located in Fontecchio (AQ), is a place that stands out for its traditional Abruzzo cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere. I was able to particularly appreciate the quality of the dishes, which are prepared with fresh ingredients and follow typical recipes of the region. I took the Fettuccine with mushrooms and sausage: excellent, a local specialty. Then steak with french fries. In summary, the Il Rio restaurant was an excellent choice to enjoy authentic Abruzzo dishes in a welcoming and informal setting. The combination of quality food, generous portions and friendly service and competitive prices makes it a must visit place for those in the area.

Excellent food generous portions friendly staff. We found ourselves in this restaurant by chance, I can say that it couldn't have happened better. Highly recommended Ravioli with ricotta and walnuts, excellent ........... shame I didn't photograph them.

Oggi a pranzo per la prima volta abbiamo pranzato richiedendo menu' di pesce(prenotato una settimana fa')al ristorante "Del Rio".
Devo dire che è stata una piacevolissima esperienza!
Pesce cucinato in maniera impeccabile e pulito alla perfezione,abbiamo subito notato la freschezza e l'abbondanza delle portate.Antipasti sfiziosi e delicati,primi piatti ottimi,secondi succulenti e ben presentati.Prezzo onesto.
Devo fare i miei complimenti al personale di sala che ci ha offerto un servizio impeccabile.Bravissimi tutti.Attenti e soprattutto presenti nel soddisfare le nostre richieste.
