An exceptional restaurant, more than fair prices, excellent food, the portions are exorbitant... with a first course you can eat abundantly for three, we couldn't finish it... so be careful, the place is very popular, so reservations are necessary. The bathrooms are large and clean, the ambiance is vintage but well-kept. The only downside, given the crowds, is the noise in the room... a suggestion for the friendly owner could be to install some dividers with plants to dampen the noise a bit.

We accompanied a group from our travel agency on a tour of the nearby Stiffe Caves and the village of Goriano Valli, stopping for lunch at Ristorante Del Rio. We were all 37 people, pleasantly satisfied with the generous portions and the quality of the first and second courses. The service was fast and friendly. Special thanks to Valeria, the waitress, who accommodated all our requests. Thank you. We'll be back.

Usually quality and quantity do not go together. This place is a very pleasant exception. Two 'portions' of pappardelle with wild boar ragù that we both had as a trio because they were so abundant. And great welcome and cordiality. Top!

02/07/2025: What a fantastic place to stay in Abruzzo. Because 'la mamma' had fallen, we could not get food in the evening but that was more than compensated by a wonderful breakfast and refined snacks with a drink in the afternoon. What warm, friendly people. We were really pampered. Grazie mille per tutti.
