No longer a restaurant. Just a hotel. We stopped here for one night and had a wonderful time. We were greeted with great warmth and friendliness by Francesca, who runs the property, which has been in her family since 1880, with love and passion. There's still a wonderful 1920s lounge. The room was excellently clean, quiet, and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious. This place lacks modern amenities and comforts, but it's steeped in history.

If you like authentic places with a story to tell, where every object has a story to tell, you'll love this place. In this hotel, you'll be transported back to the late 19th century, immersed in a magical landscape. Francesca was an excellent host, and ending the evening chatting with her in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine was wonderful. If you like retro charm, this is definitely a place worth exploring.

A place with a soul, where Francesca welcomes you like a friend and makes you feel right at home. For those who love places with history and personality. The room was comfortable, warm, and spotlessly clean, with a beautiful view of the bridge. Breakfast was excellent (with Francesca's homemade peach jam). I wish we could have stayed longer because we really enjoyed our stay.
