Excellent food Fantastic location

We stayed in Borgo Tignano on the second weekend of this torrid month of August and it was a very pleasant discovery for us. The location is enchanting, surrounded by nature: an oasis of timeless peace and tranquility, but just a few dozen kilometers from Volterra and San Gimignano. The delightful and very well-kept apartment is tastefully furnished. The landlady and all the staff were very kind and always available. The excellent breakfast served on the restaurant terrace, in front of a breathtaking view. Furthermore, and this is no small feat, we were also able to bring our dog with us, given that pets are welcome in Borgo Tignano. In short, the weekend in Borgo Tignano was truly splendid for us and we hope to repeat this short but beautiful experience soon.

Very nice accommodation, great rooms, great pool, very nice and attentive service staff. I didn't find the (purely vegetarian) food that good, Italian cuisine offers so many delicious vegetarian dishes without having to use substitute products like tofu or saitan. The taste was rather mediocre. The view from the terrace where the meal was eaten was fantastic, the wine was excellent!

We were able to enjoy this magical place with its charming, helpful hosts for 14 days. The vegetarian cuisine and the friendliness of the staff are outstanding. The location is very suitable for excursions into the surrounding area. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back.

A serene location in the rolling Tuscan hills unlocking the opportunity to find peace and relaxation, yet within easy reach of all the tourist spots - Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra ... Tignano is run by a dynamic young team who deliver exceptional service and great value. My room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant is a great pick for dinner on the terrace, where you enjoy with sweeping views, and the wine cellar is well stocked with wines mainly from small, hand-picked local producers - you won't find these in the supermarket. The sunny pool is big and a great place to relax - it even has Wi-Fi! Leaving was a wrench and I'll certainly be back.

A paradise of silence. Far from the crowds. I recommand it.

My four days at the Borgo Tignano residence were wonderful. The apartment was stylish and charmingly furnished, with great attention to detail. The friendly and helpful staff made my stay even more pleasant. The vegetarian food was also delicious. I can therefore highly recommend a stay at Borgo Tignano. I would definitely like to come back in the future because I felt very comfortable here and was able to relax well.

I was able to spend an unforgettable week of drumming, dancing and yoga here in this borgo, which was run with a lot of passion. The very warm, personal welcome from the owners made you immediately feel comfortable and in holiday mode. Everything was fine. The Tuscan style lovingly Furnished rooms in the ancient walls radiate peace and merge with the beautiful surrounding Tuscan landscape. Just vacation and wonderful! The two group rooms that we were allowed to use for our workshops are also very energetically designed. The positive effect on all participants and the group was literally noticeable for me and will certainly have an impact for a long time. All in all, a very special piece of land that is certainly in good hands with the owners and makes a vacation a sustainable experience.

We were in Borgo Tignano in May 2024 as a group of 20 people from Germany and spent a week there with yoga, dancing and drumming in the Tuscan sky - it was unique and absolutely great. The surrounding nature and landscape are original and picturesque, the accommodations are stylish and comfortable, the vegetarian food is tasty, plentiful and prepared with love and the ingredients are of exquisite organic quality. As if that wasn't enough, we were looked after attentively and caringly by the entire staff. Many thanks to Janine, Leonardo, Laura, Nici, Paolo, Eleonora, Cinzia, Giacomo, Francesco, Lila, Mariza and all the others - you are a great team.
