Frequentiamo Gravedona da 25 anni io e la mia famiglia e con la nuova gestione di questo ristorante (ormai da 3 anni) siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti!
Abbinamenti particolari e perfetti, materie prime fresche, insomma nulla da dire.
Personale molto cortese.
La cosa più piacevole è che hanno portato i piatti tutti insieme!!

Abbiamo mangiato in questyo locale perchè consigliatoci ed è stato subito un innamoramento da prenderlo come tappa fissa. Riso al Persico sublime, antipasti spettacolari, pesce alla griglia ottimo.

We had a nice meal here. It's nice that there is an allergen card. And very friendly service. Please note that children's menus are really children's menus. It was a bit little for our children aged 10 and 12.

If you look east you can glimpse Valtellina, or at least the beginning of it, on the right the Orobie Prealps, closer Legnone (2609 s.l.m.) and Legnoncino. In front of you are the ridges, the imposing vanguard of the Lepontine Alps, with still a few white spots, which since there is no marble there must be frozen snow. On the left the Spluga Valley, towards the Pass of the same name and Madesimo where you ski and in winter there is always snow (more or less), and on the other side the Maloja Pass and Saint Moritz and from there then the Bernina Pass and the train that goes down to Tirano, or by car if you want, first turning towards Livigno.
Below, in Val Chiavenna, the end of the Alto Lario, Novate Mezzola and the Lake Park which marks the top of Lake Como (Samolaco) on one side with the Mera river, on the other with the Adda, its main tributary, and the Pian di Spagna in the 17th century was the territory of those people, whose descendants (or not) yesterday won the European Championship of
Football (very good, it must be said).
And then there is the restaurant-accommodation (but we didn't sleep there) with a risotto with perch, au bord du lac, under a covered but airy terrace, with calm waters on the horizon, sails, boats and small boats, a panorama which takes a lot: in short, a hot summer day but mitigated by quality bubbles, and the absence of the fearsome 'twenty-one' which when it blows from Valtellina looks like Aeolus with the 'de travers' blades better
stay on the ground.
Places known as a boy centuries ago, when in those surroundings there were only a few houses, and the coach passed and not the double-decker buses, when the campsites began (and the beautiful summers), and the Falck Dongo rowers trained who they also won some medals (Four Without, Rome 1960, and Prague 1961).
These returns are strange, a little sad, certainly if in the company of dear friends less painful. A good day, very pleasant.
But the risotto was overcooked, although overall more than acceptable. Seven +.

Positive experience!
The strong point of the restaurant is the location of the veranda, directly overlooking the lake.
Tables well distributed and with enough space to move to and from the entrance.
As soon as we were seated we were greeted with a welcome drink and a small entréé to taste while waiting for the order, offered and very welcome.
I had dinner with a starter and first course, right portions, good plating and the general aesthetic impact of the dishes.
Personally I appreciated the carpaccio with rocket pesto on carasau bread (taken as an appetizer), the first course was good, the fisherman's rice (with perch) rather faithful to the traditional Como recipe, even if, in my opinion, a little too abundant in the seasoning!
Friendly waiters, even if the service was a little slow, considering that the place was not too crowded.
Fair bill, in line with the quality of the product!!
